Focus on activities that promote increased access and support activities with the ultimate goal of increasing retention and success for students. ATF are responsible for very early intervention activities: contacting students immediately after registration to make sure that they get off to a smooth start; resolving any issues that may arise regarding course materials, faculty contacts or connectivity; and then following up with students on a regular basis throughout the semester. ATF contact individual students that instructors have identified as falling behind, not participating or exhibiting other potential problems.
