Our challenge:
Innovation with Virtual and Augmented Reality
In this CBI (Challenge-Based Innovation) we:
- Identify and evaluate open source or free VR and AR programs
- Collect of data in order to present the state-of-the-art of VR
- And then develop an RV and an AR application to minimize the problem of tourism in
times of pandemic
- to plan, design and develop a virtual reality space and an augmented reality space.

a) Planning and development of the project (iterative and incremental approach)
b) prototyping (prototyping - evaluating - prototyping)
c) Final version of the guided tour in augmented reality
d) Evaluated through a case study involving international students and professors.
The plan of the work has the following main steps:
The first stage: state-of-the-art of VR and AR (March).
The second stage: possibilities of VR and AR functionality in practice using free open-
source software.
The third stage: mapping out project stages.
The fourth stage: design and develop workspace based on VR&AR.
