KPF CGG - Internal group concentrating on the generation of complex geometry in response to specific design requirements. The group uses a variety of computational (Java, C#) and geometric tools (Rhino, GC). This group also has expertise in simulation (EA, Fluid Dynamics, energy simulation) and is actively developing aspects of computational design.
First Project - CDV and Autodesk Consulting
Forms at KPF can be inspired by various aspects of a project. Some are program driven, some are site specific. CGG’s job is to merge that concept into reality. The concept is recorded in formulas and codes.
Automated generation of thousands of design explorations along with their evaluations is produced. The successful complex geometry is then linked or exported to Building Information Modeling applications for further development.
