Roles & Responsibilities:

from Test design through to release

Project Description : ‘Savvy Mariner’ is an Integrated ERP Application developed by Jwala IT
Pvt Ltd, for Ship Operations and is intended to take care of the day-to-day operations covering most
of the technical management aspects of Vessel Operations. Savvy Mariner has been designed and
guided by marine professionals. It has been use on many types of vessels and is one of the few
application programs being used onboard the vessels. Savvy Mariner has two versions one for the
office use and the other for the ship user. The design is in such a way that both versions talk to each
other and update the respective databases either by hard drive or by internet connectivity, if
available.

product before delivering it to the customer. Performed Functional, system, unit, load, regression,
stress and data interface testing. Provided client developer teams with detailed reports on quality
metrics, identified bugs/flaws and recommended fixes.
Results:
Involved in Creating company’s first comprehensive tracking tool (SEP) to streamline
the development process and document test defects and procedures to enable accurate
replication and ensure compliance with standards. Accelerated average QA testing turn-
around time by 25% or more, allowing company to accept more testing projects without

As a functional expert and belief management had on me I played a major role in giving
the complete requirement of the product for rewriting the existing product to a new
technology, by considering the facts of the customers difficulties and their needs, which
resulted in giving a new optimized product to the company at par to the competitive
products and mainly were the customer has to rely on the support team very minimal apart

paperwork and speeds information flow. Tailored data views focus staff and students on the real-
time information they need while protecting sensitive information at the data base level.

is efficient for the management to analyze how many bug fixes / enhancements are done for a client
has been requested and how many of them are completed for a given period. This will also give the
man hours required and the actual man-hours taken, the Resource (Programmer) responsible for a
task and so on.
