3. Retweet with comment of 140+ characters
Using this new feature, you can
retweet any tweet with comment.
Interesting thing about this feature
is that, you can add your own
comment of 140+ characters to a
retweet.
But there is a catch, when someone
retweet your tweet with comment,
it does not consider as a retweet.
4. Twitter Recap: ‘While you were away…’
Twitter will show you some of the best
tweets from accounts you follow in your
Twitter feed when you login.
These tweets might be posted by followed
accounts after your last logout and before
your current login.
Using this new feature, you can get a quick
snapshot of what is happening in your
Twitter world.
5. Easy to Use Direct Messages
Twitter made some major changes in how
you use direct messages.
you can receive direct messages from
anyone by changing some settings. You
can also reply to anyone who sends you a
Direct Message, regardless of whether or

Twitter also removed character limit of 140
characters from Direct Messages.

Twitter team up with Google to show some

You can directly search about your

You can tap on a Tweet in Google search to

content in Twitter.

7. Easy to Follow Conversations
Sometimes, it’s hard to follow so
many conversations around one
tweet.
From now onwards, You can find out
grouped conversations and
highlighted exchanges right below
the Tweet connected by a line.
You can also see more replies on
specific Tweet within a conversation.

8. Introduction of Autoplay Videos
This feature is almost same as Facebook
Videos. Videos and GIFs begin to play
back automatically in the feed.
When you tap the video, sound will turn
on and the video will continue to play in
an expanded view.
So ultimately less taps are required to see
video of your choice.
9. Add Birthdate to Twitter Profile
Now, you can add your birthdate to your twitter
profile. To do so, just click on “Edit Profile” button
from your twitter profile.
This feature is also more or less inspired from
Facebook but the major difference is that it is
optional to add your birthdate to your Twitter profile.
You can also separately manage visibility settings of
your birth day/month and birth year.

Twitter has introduced new dashboard to

12. Stars became Hearts
Twitter has replaced star icon with heart icon. Also,
Favorites have been called as Likes.
Favorites was the feature which distinguish Twitter
from its major competitors like Facebook and Google+.
As per the Twitter, stars could be confusing sometimes
for new users as all your liked things can’t be your
favorite.
