Sources Community Resources Society faces several challenges, including low salaries, employee burnout due to long work hours, and difficulties retaining staff and volunteers. However, Excalibur Consultancy identifies opportunities to improve funding through expanded public-private partnerships and assessing total rewards packages. They recommend non-violence crisis training for employees, implementing an employee training program, and focusing on supporting employee needs. With strategic adjustments, Sources can better serve its community while investing in its workforce.

2. INTRODUCTION
Excalibur Consultancy is focused on creating solutions
for its clients. We are keen on providing help that helps
the organization long term and helps them function
independently by identifying its concerns.
The executive summary consists of a deep analysis of
the organization’s operations and provides a study
that supports recognizing the issue. A few
recommendations are offered as a course of action.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY FOR SOURCES
3. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY FOR SOURCES
BREAKING IN
Excalibur Consultancy conducted a comprehensive analysis of Sources (see
Appendix A). We observed that your firm has adhered to its mission and vision
for the past three decades, resulting in a positive online reputation and
reviews. Despite having several services, diversified clientele, and personnel,
the website generated few records and newsletters. This might be an
opportunity to enhance your social media presence and marketing and
technology innovations.
Additionally, as a nonprofit organization, our study reveals that Sources relies
heavily on government and donor financing, which can pressure the
organization's ability to continue providing vital services. Therefore, since the
costs associated may be relatively high, we advise expanding your public-
private partnership.
Regarding staffing, workforce shortages are common in the nonprofit industry,
reflected in your organization's number of volunteers (a decrease of 4%).
Even though more of your staff are actively engaged in their job, lengthier
workweeks may increase the number of staff that feel burned out. Here you
may assess your rewards package's market competitiveness and invest in
your team and volunteers' mental health.
Finally, given the abundance of competing nonprofits, consider expanding
your reach and increasing the hours during which services like peer support
are offered. Then, you can keep your staff abreast of developments in
technology and cyber security best practices and evaluate training
effectiveness, starting with the hybrid workplace concept.
4. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY FOR SOURCES
First of all, we would like to note that your organization is one of many facing
difficulties in operating due to the pandemic: 69% of non-profit organizations
said they were experiencing a decrease in income. In addition, the sector
continues to lose several sources of income, including rental income,
donations, and fundraising income from charitable events. At the same time,
there is a noticeable increase in costs in connection with adopting measures to
prevent the spread of COVID-19. Other challenges include increased demand
for services without a similar increase in the ability to provide services and
switching from an in-person communication model with clients to a remote one.

OF THE PROBLEM
Fishbone Analysis
5. Our fishbone analysis showed that your organization has several industry-wide
problems: low salaries, employee burnout, underfunding, and difficulty hiring and
retaining workers. However, there are areas for your company's development:
establishing remote work processes, building a training system for employees, and
working with an engagement strategy.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY FOR SOURCES
STARTER KIT
Excalibur Consultancy recognizes
that the Sources Community
Resources Centre has an
opportunity to collaborate with
public or private organizations to
improve funding. We recommend
that the organization re-evaluate its
total rewards, especially overtime
pay, as most employees might
work longer hours due to labor
shortage. All employees should be
given non-violence crisis
intervention training to help them
safely provide service to disruptive
and aggressive clients.
It prevents crises from escalating
and allows employees to detach to
avoid affecting their mental health.
People need to be appreciated
while management actively
supports them and listens to their
needs. A training program
development model can also be
implemented to measure
effectiveness.The organization
must communicate its expectations
to its employees by “considering
the audience” and ensuring the
delivery style is efficient.
6. CONCLUSION
After understanding the
organization’s mission to serve its
community and help them be
independent, it has been suggested
that the organization takes a
multifold assessment of the
problem and then makes a long-
term decision that helps them
improve its client uptake and
satisfaction. It is imperative to focus
on people and their needs.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY FOR SOURCES
Using adult learning theory, employee motivation, experience, and self-direction can be
used as a catalyst for training. “Citizenship Crafting” can stimulate employees’ intrinsic
needs, wherein they perform employee-initiated behaviors that best suit the
organizational outcomes. It also helps them readapt to the change as it promotes self-
efficacy. Overall, leadership is suggested to offer more accountability to its people to
transfer that accountability to the clients, which can build citizenship behavior.
