 The time bound process which involves engagement with the students
and teachers in schools.
 The sustained engagement with the school over a period of time is
known as ‘school internship’.

Infrastructure

 No criteria to get admission.
 Admission open to all category girls.
 Students can get admission at any time of the year.
 For SSLC, students should admit to school before
September.

Collection of fees:
 Annual fee of rupees 60/- per student is
being collected as fees.
 The fee collected from the students will be
utilized for SWF and TBF.

Establishment :
 The Government of Karnataka, keeping in mind the
welfare of students and teachers of the State, established
the Karnataka State Teachers' Benefit Fund and Karnataka
State Students’ Welfare Fund in the year 1963.
 It is the first of its kind established for the welfare of
students and teachers in Karnataka.

 Free uniforms.
 Free text books and note books.
 Health check up – Once in a year.
 Tablets – Weekly one tablet(Folic acid tablet), Once in 6
months(Albendazole).
Scholarships:
 Merit based scholarship, Minority scholarship, SC/ST scholarship.
 Girls incentive scholarship(5,000rs per month for SC/ST girls).
 Special scholarships for PH students(2,000rs per year by the Edu.
Dept. & 1,200rs per month by the Govt.)
 Special scholarships for Single parent students and Orphan
students.(1,500rs per month by the Govt.)
 The Central Govt. sponsors 5,000/- rupees for INSPIRE AWARDS.

Distribution of uniforms:
 2 pairs of free uniforms per
student are being distributed
by the government to all the
students of class 8. And 1 pair
of free uniforms per student
to all the students of class 9 &
10 in the beginning of every
academic year.

Mid day meal programme:
 In 2003 – Implemented in Primary Schools.
 In 2007 – Implemented in High Schools.
 1 rupee 98 paisa to be spent by the Government for vegetables per
student.
 As per the Government norms 1 cook should be there for 100
students.
 Cooks will be recruited by the school officials like the Head Master
on caste basis(SC/ST).
 The cooks will be paid rupees 2,100/- per month by the government.
 The main objectives of Mid Day Meal Programme: Nutritious,
Hygienic and Clean food.
Mid day meal programme:
 The government is supplying the ration on a monthly basis.
 There is sufficient supply of ration to the school.
 Mothers committee will check the quality of the food

Mid day meal programme:
The mid day meals timings is from 2.10pm to 2.40pm.
Student feedback will be collected once in a month.
 The Government will sponsor for
150 ml of flavored milk to school
children 5 days a week under the
Ksheera Bhagya scheme.
 Earlier milk was distributed
thrice a week.
 The 150 ml of milk to be
supplied to children will be
converted from 18 grams of
whole milk powder.
 Milk will be served to students
before the school prayer.
(10:30AM to 11:15AM)

 A dignitary from Netherland
has distributed books worth
30,000/- rupees.
 Yearly once health check up.

 It is a 3 years plan.
 Intended at implementing new plans and
programmes.
 Discussion about implementing plans.
 The participants are the Vice Principal, SDMC

 Intended at improving the results.
 Conducting pre-test in the beginning of every
academic year.
 Bridge course for weak students for 15 days from
June 1st to June 15th.
 Achievement test.
 Remedial classes for students who score poor marks
in tests.

 For students who pass this exam, the student will get rupees 2,000/-
per month till higher education.

 The Government is providing adequate amount of

 The govt. is spending more than 50,000 rupees per
student.
 Students in the urban area are not utilizing the Govt.
facilities.
 Vice Principal is answerable to the Govt.
 No grants will be given to the Govt. schools in urban area.
 The dropout students rate has been increasing in urban
areas.

  • 10.   No criteria to get admission.  Admission open to all category girls.  Students can get admission at any time of the year.  For SSLC, students should admit to school before September.  Documents collected while admission: Transfer Certificate, Aadhaar card, Caste & Income certificate Admission
  • 11.  Collection of fees:  Annual fee of rupees 60/- per student is being collected as fees.  The fee collected from the students will be utilized for SWF and TBF. Admission Students’ fees SWF TBF
  • 12.   SWF Students’ Welfare Fund.  TBF Teachers’ Beneficiary Fund. Establishment :  The Government of Karnataka, keeping in mind the welfare of students and teachers of the State, established the Karnataka State Teachers' Benefit Fund and Karnataka State Students’ Welfare Fund in the year 1963.  It is the first of its kind established for the welfare of students and teachers in Karnataka.   • 15.  Free uniforms.  Free text books and note books.  Health check up – Once in a year.  Tablets – Weekly one tablet(Folic acid tablet), Once in 6 months(Albendazole). Scholarships:  Merit based scholarship, Minority scholarship, SC/ST scholarship.  Girls incentive scholarship(5,000rs per month for SC/ST girls).  Special scholarships for PH students(2,000rs per year by the Edu. Dept. & 1,200rs per month by the Govt.)  Special scholarships for Single parent students and Orphan students.(1,500rs per month by the Govt.)  The Central Govt. sponsors 5,000/- rupees for INSPIRE AWARDS.   • 16. Distribution of uniforms:  2 pairs of free uniforms per student are being distributed by the government to all the students of class 8. And 1 pair of free uniforms per student to all the students of class 9 & 10 in the beginning of every academic year. Facilities provided by the Government to the GGHS, People’s park, Mysuru
  • 17.  Mid day meal programme:
  • 18.  In 2003 – Implemented in Primary Schools.  In 2007 – Implemented in High Schools.  1 rupee 98 paisa to be spent by the Government for vegetables per student.  As per the Government norms 1 cook should be there for 100 students.  Cooks will be recruited by the school officials like the Head Master on caste basis(SC/ST).  The cooks will be paid rupees 2,100/- per month by the government.  The main objectives of Mid Day Meal Programme: Nutritious, Hygienic and Clean food. Mid day meal programme:
  • 19.  The government is supplying the ration on a monthly basis.  There is sufficient supply of ration to the school.  Mothers committee will check the quality of the food Mid day meal programme:
  • 20.  Mid day meal programme: The mid day meals timings is from 2.10pm to 2.40pm. Student feedback will be collected once in a month.
  • 21.  The Government will sponsor for 150 ml of flavored milk to school children 5 days a week under the Ksheera Bhagya scheme.  Earlier milk was distributed thrice a week.  The 150 ml of milk to be supplied to children will be converted from 18 grams of whole milk powder.  Milk will be served to students before the school prayer.   • 48.   The Government is providing adequate amount of facilities.  The govt. is spending more than 50,000 rupees per student.  Students in the urban area are not utilizing the Govt. facilities.  Vice Principal is answerable to the Govt.  No grants will be given to the Govt. schools in urban area.  The dropout students rate has been increasing in urban areas.
