Social inclusion
of the disadvantaged
students
2017-1-RO01-KA219-037125
2017-2019
2. The project focuses on the
problem of social exclusion (in terms
of basic skills lack). Therefore, new
strategies and methods of teaching
cooperatively and inclusively will be
practised at schools and during leisure
time activities.
3. There were identified the most important
problems which prevent students from any
academic success.
• In Romania
“lack of parental support and socio-economical
needs”.
• In Macedonia and Italy
“lack of social inclusion and basic skills”
• In Turkey and Portugal
“lack of basic skills, lack of parental support,
and socio-economic needs”
4. Our proposal is to give education another
perspective considering that useful education is
something all students need regardless of the career
choices they will eventually make.
5. Before creating this project we had a pre-work
period about the new strategies and defined 5 new ones
to use in our project. Every partner will apply one of
these methods in their school environment, observe and
evaluate the outcomes which will be discussed by all
partners and transferred to one another.
5 strategies will have been applied and evaluated.
The final product of the project is a methodology
book which will include:
• the practical experience,
• observations,
• evaluations,
• results
and may be a source book for anyone who needs to
overcome social exclusion and lack of basic skills.
6. OBJECTIVES
-to promote the inclusion of excluded students
into the mainstream education and society.
-to apply new strategies for overcoming social
exclusion, lack of basic skills and the problem of
early school leaving
This project must be carried out
transnationally because it aims at transferring
good practices. As teachers we need to compare
different educational systems to work more
effectively and our students will increase their
level of intercultural understanding of
democratic values.
7. INNOVATIVE METHODS
-Our project is innovative and complementary
itself with its all aspects, programme, activities,
intellectual outputs and strategies.
-The activities include good practices and
innovation. The partners will observe one
another and transfer the good practices and
innovation to their own school programmes.
-Our project activities are not common but they
are specific to our project theme. We carefully
planned the activities which will be practicable
and effective to reach our goals.
8. We have to include everyone in a way that everybody will
be able to show an ability to improve their self-esteem, self-
confidence in order to feel accepted and needed in social life.
Enhancing the quality and relevance of the learning offer in
education, training by developing new, innovative approaches and
supporting the dissemination of best practices increase efficiency .
10. Impact
We are 5 partners from different 5 countries
The project will promote the cooperation between schools
and nations and the exchange of ideas and pedagogical approaches
leading to the creation of a transnational network and increasing the
schools’ European dimension and prestige.
The institutions involved will manage to create an inclusive
environment which will help all the learners achieve their full
potential.
The website will spread the outcomes of the project; the
classes will organize workshops and little shows for the audience of
families: so the families will be made more aware of the European
dimension of education. Local municipality will take part in these
activities.
The project will also have stakeholders from outside the
school. (NGOs and/or local institutions) leading to wider areas of
dissemination.
