General third party logistics services are usually about getting product in store
and on shelves. The challenge can be to review what makes these products
leave the store and shelves.
This is PMA Global’s expertise. We have developed systems and processes
that provide support for Marketing and Sales Teams, as well as Supply Chain
Professionals to maximise the success of any campaign.
Whether the need be a marketing campaign promoting products, distribution
of mandatory business requirements or a prize giveaway, we do not restrict
our capabilities by developing processes that only work for a certain fulfilment
process, class of freight or distribution channel. We recognise our clients have
a vast range of needs, including split cases, repacks, hand-counting, boxing,
palletising, crating and any other manual process imaginable. What matters is
that we get the right quantity, of the right product, delivered on time and in full.
Dedicated account management teams work in consultation with our clients
to determine their needs to suit every brief and budget. This dedicated
team becomes an extension of our clients’ business, delivering activity
recommendations, budget management, and cost reductions through effective

Through the utilisation of PMA-developed, internal systems, considerations
include each clients’ individual needs and the processes required for requirement.
Where there is a need to expand on existing processes to deliver a customer
requirement, our internal IT smarts and capacity provides us the ability to do
so. Client developments have included client accounting solutions, budgetary
allocations, batch number tracking and push allocation systems, to name a
few. All systems run on the same central database so there is no disconnect
between any of the services we provide to our clients.
In addition to a quality delivery of tailored services, PMA’s charging structure
has been developed to cater for the varying physical characteristics of our
clients’ stock. This can range from a small bundle of brochures right up to trade
displays of thirty cubic metres, and our range of storage solutions results in the
ability to transfer from larger capacity areas to smaller less expensive options
as stock depletes. Storage costs are calculated based on the space used
daily, providing our clients with efficiency and accuracy in pricing, ensuring all
requirements are delivered within budget.
PMA’s despatch systems include a Least Cost Freight capability, delivering
the best price option for each individual consignment is made available to
the despatcher, in order that they can focus on the checking and packing
processes. All PMA’s transport providers are continually monitored and regularly
assessed to ensure they are providing the service required.
