“GOOGLE” in AUGUST 2005.
The Open Handset Alliance was formed
on 5 NOVEMBER 2007.

a consortium of 84 firms to
develop open standards for mobile
devices.
This group of companies is allowed to

15. MULTI WINDOW SUPPORT
Split Screen is the highlight of Android Nougat.
Android TV gets Picture-In-Picture mode, allowing
user to continue watching their vedio in a smaller
screen while performing another task.
16. NIGHT MODE
This feature allows user to have the option to
switch to a darker color scheme after sunset, if the
white color scheme is unplesant.
There is an option to automatically switch to Night
Mode after sunset in the users area.
17. DOZE MODE
Doze Mode is a way to save battery life.
This feature is activated when the screen is turned
off, saving upon more battery.
18. NOTIFICATIONS
User can reply to an incoming message without
navigating from the notifications.
All messages from a specific messaging app are
bundled together.
Users can long press a notification and choose
whether to display them or to block them.
19. QUICK SWITCH
Quickly jump between your two most recently used
apps with a double tap on the overview button
Overview button is the square icon on the right of
the three virtual navigation buttons at the bottom of
the screen.
20. BETTER ENCRYPTION
In Android Nougat each file and folder saved on the
device is encrypted and protected individually, as
opposed to being encrypted as a whole like previous
versions and other operating systems.
