2. I am the founder owner of
Shrivedant Foundation in
Kenya. The foundation aims to
bring forth the pearls of wisdom
from ancient Indian scriptures.
After building a Shiv Temple in
Kenya with my husband, I
moved on to fulfil my dream of
promoting vegetarianism in
Kenya, hence launched Kenya
Vegetarian Club.
I have set up a team of geeks, researchers and
New media professionals who help me to publish
my researched content for website, mobile, books,
journals and magazines. I also aim to open a
university solely dedicated to Indian scriptures.

3. One more feather in the cap. Got an award called
Nav Rattan award in Delhi. It was a pleasure
meeting other awardees from different parts of the
world.
4. It is still a long way to go as my purpose of
spreading the knowledge of Indian scriptures,
heritage and hindu culture is not yet fulfilled. It is
just the beginning. I can see my vision is taking
shape in various parts of the world as I have
started meeting many like minded people.I could also feel that the
change is taking shape. The
Swamis and sanyasi are
getting due respect. As that is
what I would love to see.

6. Shrivedant Foundation has developed a unique
course material to help Indians and others to start
living a Vedic Hindu Lifestyle to uplift their soul and
well-being. We have introduced Courses on Hindu
Culture and Lifestyle in three levels – Basic,
Intermediate and Advance catering to children,
teenagers and young/ mature adults respectively.
Each level has a set of 4 books making it 12 books
in all. The four subjects are Vedic Lifestyle, Inside
India, Indian ancients sciences and Indian
7. The Veg Safari is an attempt to explore
the compelling need for the world to turn
vegetarian today. The choice to turn
wholly vegan or vegetarian is not dictated
by moral or ethical concerns alone, nor is
it an attempt to convince anyone using
religious mumbo jumbo.
The book presents many case studies to back its claims
and the author Ms. Vaishali Shah who is also the
founder of Kenya Vegetarian Club has spent many years
studying the effect of the meat industry. Foremost
among the many consequences of a flesh based diet is
its effect on one’s health. If that is an individual

10. It was a very early morning for me to start my day
for this interview. After going through the initial
discussion about the topic with anchor, we went on
air.
11. The interview went on for 40 minutes and we could
cover most of the area about vegetarianism,
vegetable farming, tree planting, health and
wellness.
I must appreciate the
smartness and the
