Objective: Reduce the number of fatalities and serious injuries by
modifying driver behaviors.
Audience: Adult drivers, traffic safety advocates, partnering agencies
Partners: Utah Highway Safety Office, statewide local health
departments, Utah Safety Council, Utah Highway Patrol, Safe Kids
Utah, Primary Children’s Medical Center.
Tactics:
• Conduct TV, online and print advertising efforts that alter driver
  behavior to avoid the top behaviors on Utah’s roads.
• Conduct presentations and educational activities at community
  events.


Planning for next year: Create new TV, radio and online media to increase the exposure and
impact of the Zero Fatalities message. Educate other traffic safety advocates on the Zero
Fatalities message so they can be ambassadors of the program, carrying it into their
communities.
