to Havells, its rival in the space. The brand, in its new ad featuring
Akshay Kumar, takes a blatant dig at Havells' marketing USP for its

BRIEF OUTLINE OF THEINDUSTRY
The wire and cable industry has moved from being a small industry
20 years back to a very large industry over the last decade. Although
it is a volume-driven product, it has a lot of quality and technical
particulars. Over a period of time, the industry has moved from the
unorganised to the organised sector. However, about 35% of this
industry is still in the unorganised sector. Requirements like brand
and quality perception are key in this Rs 15,000 crore industry. The
wire and cables industry predominantly provides challenging
opportunities in the field of manufacturing , supply chain,
procurement, marketing and HR. This industry is currently
undergoing a major change and portends huge opportunity for
upcoming professionals and will give them a first hand experience
on subjects like techno-marketing , brand building, Six-Sigma , just-
in-time manufacturing , etc

The wire and cable industry comprises 40% of the entire electrical
industry, which is expected to double in size over the next five years.
The industry is growing at a CAGR of 15% as a result of growth in the
power and infrastructure segments. It is expected to grow at similar
rate for the next five years. The government’s emphasis on the
power sector reforms and infrastructure will further drive growth.

Political
Government is the major customer of the industry and any delay in capex allocation
by the government and utility incumbent, could adversely impact the industry's
growth. Almost all the companies under cable industry has diversified product
portfolio with different variants in Power and Telecom transmission cable which
provides some insulation by division of risks. To overcome this issue with geographic
dependence, many of the companies in this industry have started expanding its foot
on the global front.
Economical
Company has multiple manufacturing facilities in India. The clientele is not limited to
Indian origin but is far-fetched across different parts of the globe. Performance and
growth of the industry is dependent on overall health and steadiness of the world
economies. Any downturn in economic conditions will have an adverse effect on the
performance of the industry.

With globalization and rise of SMAC Technologies, the need to stay connected has
been rising exponentially. Internet industry has been successful in connecting over 2.3
billion users and communities virtually, can be a threat for cable industry.

There is a variety of communications solutions, the two most common being wireless
technology and wired options-such as copper and fiber-optic cable. Wireless
Technology and its increasing use can affect wire and cable industry and its growth.

Different companies in this sector use different Environment Management System that
take care of various aspects of the environment associated with health and safety
structure, air quality, air pollution, waste management, disposal of hazardous waste,
recycling and reuse, environmental policies, imparting environment training.

 To determine the customers satisfaction.
 To determine the factors influencing the choice of customers.

 Company will come to know what attracts customers.
 Company will come to know that which criteria customers look for before
buying these products.
 Company will also come to know the future changes which will be require
satisfying customer needs and wants.

Sample size is 57 which cover the population of Ghaziabad.

Research included only Primary data. Primary data is the first hand data, which are
selected a fresh and thus happen to be original in character. Primary Data was crucial
to know various customers and past consumer views about RR Kabel and to know
the awareness of this brand in regards to other brands.

Data has been collected through survey questionnaire

After the data has been collected, it was tabulated and findings of the project were
presented followed by analysis and interpretation to reach certain conclusions.
