do and what not to do on the Internet. We are also going
to be talking about plagiarism which is against the law
and you can go to jail for it.

To present proper behavior on the Internet you
have to follow the guidelines and regulations.
Some follow these rules and some don’t, and the
people who don’t are punished for their wrong
doings.
These rules are to keep you safe and orderly.
4. PROPER BEHAVIOR ON THE INTERNET
To present proper internet behavior you should…
Watch what you post online.
Look out for plagiarism.
Make sure you do not flame.
Also you should make sure you have proper
manners like you would to an adult.
5. WHY ARE RULES OF CONDUCT
IMPORTANT WHEN COMMUNICATING
ONLINE
Rules of conduct are important because without them
we the Internet would be no more than chaos and
confusion. These rules are set for a reason, that
reason is so that you can play with the Internet safe
and securely.
6. WHAT IS PLAGIARISM?
Plagiarism is a form of stealing. Not only is it
stealing but it is not giving the creator credit for any
of his/her work.
Plagiarism is wrong and you can go to jail for it.
What if you made a 15 page report in your class
and yours was the best in the class, and later on in
the day someone stole it, so you see, you should
treat others the way you want to be treated.

7. 9 THINGS YOU SHOULD NOT DO ONLINE.
You should not…
1. tell where you are every “minute”.
2. Put pictures online other people should not see.
3. Give a lot of information about special events.
4. Accepting people you don’t know.
5. Friending people you don’t know.
6. Put contact information for everyone to see.
7. Flame anyone. To flame someone means to insult
someone on the internet.
8. Say anything outside of your personality.

Copyright is when you copy someone else's work
when its either printed or audio or video of some
sort of copying.
Copyrighting is no better than plagiarizing.
As a matter of fact they are like brothers in a way.
If you copyright you can go to jail for this also, and
have similar punishments for it.
9. WHAT SHOULD YOU THINK ABOUT BEFORE YOU
PUBLISH INFORMATION?
1. Make sure that the content is suitable for your
viewers.
2. Read over you information before publishing.
3. present this to a close friend or relative before
presenting to audience.
4. Practice on your voice, tone, and body language
while practicing.
5. Now you are ready to present.

10. ENDING RESOLUTION
Everyday that you are on the computer it should
always end on a good note. Whether it is not
getting into a verbal fight or getting into trouble.
Take note of the small accomplishments, if you
don’t then you will think you have not achieved
anything.
Once you have spent a couple of hours on the
computer, take a break and get active weather its
outside or inside.
Obesity is a serious issue in America, and one of its
reasons is because of technology such as a
computer.
Its time to make a change.
