plan to create in your final project. Think about what you know now, and what it means to
you, compared with what you knew and could do before you started the course, and how

Tell me in no more than 27` words, what is
your FMP idea?
A documentary style interview, touching on
family history. I want to mix the use of video
and imagery, by having an interview and
photographs in the production.
Why have you decided to make it? I wanted to make something that I can relate
to and understand the purpose of whilst
making it.
What about your project makes it important
to you?
It’s about my family so I want the out come
of the project to look good. The video its self
is centred around a sensitive subject, so it’s
important that all the content I need is well
filmed.
Outline some of the initial influences on your
idea/work and some potential research
targets (remember, research isn’t just a
paper based activity)
I think that my video can be aimed at mature
ages, due to it surrounding a heavier topic. I
do however think it’s primarily aimed at
young adults due to the main focus of the
video being the importance of spending time
with loved ones.
What effect do you want to have on your
audience when they see your project?
I want the video to create an emotional
response from the people watching it. I want
the video to make people think.
Describe the tone/mood/style of your project
[which production techniques/characteristics
are you employing?]
I expect the tone of my video to be quite low,
due to it being about the loss of someone
special. However, I plan on counteracting
these feeling by having the interviewee try
talk about a happy thing with each point they
make.
Why have you decided to make your project
in this style?
I have decided to do my video in a sit down
interview style because I like how that looks
on a bigger screen and also I think it looks
quite professional.
