1. MOJO MAGAZINE COVER ANAYLSIS MASTHEAD The mast head of this magazine goes across the top of the page and really does make an impact. This is different to Q and NME as it does not have the symbol or name of the magazine in the top right hand corner. Mojo being a less successful magazine than both NME and Q will need to make their magazine stand out to get Q’s readers as they are both similar magazines.

2. MOJO MAGAZINE COVER ANALYSIS FREEBIES At the top left hand corner of the cover there is a splash that says free Beatles tribute CD meaning if u buy the magazine you will receive a free CD . In comparision with Q and NME who don't usually give freebies it is apparent that MOJO needs the freebies to sell the magazine and try to give more than what Q is offereing.

3. MOJO MAGAZINE COVER ANALYSIS COVER STARS The cover stars of this issue are The Beatles a band from the 60’s already telling you that this magazine focuses on music history rather than the new. The article inside of them is on MOJO’s opinion if thirer 101 greatest songs and their critically acclaimed 7th studio album “Revolver” review.

4. MOJO MAGAZINE COVER ANALYSIS COVERLINES This issue’s cover lines mainly focus around the beatles as this is definitely a Beatles issue of MOJO. There are bands and artists names dotted about the magazine to impress but only the two at the top of the page give you a sense of what there like as it says Neil Young rants as this would make you want to know what he is ranting about.

5. MOJO MAGAZINE COVER ANALYSIS AUDIENCE The audience for this issue would be defiantly older than 30 as most of the bands and artists on the page are more that 20 years old. And especially as it is a Beatles issue it will appeal to the older generation that liked them when they were out.

6. MOJO MAGAZINE COVER ANALYSIS REPRESENTATION The representation of this magazine is mainly for men although the Beatles had and still do have a massive woman fan base the magazine as a whole with the rest of the bands and artist featured are directed towards men. On a different note the magazine is representing the Beatles in a way in which they are better and more important then every other artist on the cover.

7. MOJO MAGAZINE COVER ANALYSIS IDEOLOGY The text on the front cover is very simple and highlights the main points of the magazine and nothing else. The main feature of the front is to try and attract the customer but not give to much away so you have to buy it to find out about the articles are about, MOJO does this well.
