reader will be able
to piece what's
missing together
especially if the
brand of magazine
is well known and
has a recognisable
masthead.

rarely covers facial

20. Most magazines would usually
utilise a small variation of fonts to
keep the cover lively yet consistent
however here they’ve stuck to a
very minimal use of font to keep
consistent with the minimalist
monochrome theme of the cover.
Instead of changing the font style to
differentiate content this example
has instead altered the size of the
text and also the colour.
