2. 1934 - 2006
Baruch Elron was born in Bucharest in 1943, immigrating to Israel in 1963.
He received an M.A. from Bucharest Academy of arts.
In 1958 he gained the Prize of Excellence at the International Exhibition in San Paulo;
an award at the Moscow Youth Festival in 1959 and a prize for book illustration
at Dresden Book Fair in 1960. He has exhibited in one-man and group exhibtions
in Israel and abroad and his paintings may be seen in museums in Boston, New York,
Toronto, Solingen, Herzlia and in many private collections.
