3. BIOGRAPHIES
Sharon Pratt:
Gry Tina Tinde: Gry Tina Tinde joined the Inter-American
Development Bank in May 2009 as Diversity Advisor in Human
Resources. She developed a diversity strategy and held a
diversity conference in November 09, which produced 10
recommendations for implementation. Tina is coordinating this
work. From 2004-09 Tina was special advisor on gender
issues to the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in
Geneva, where she set up a fundraising program for refugees:
Women Leading for Livelihoods. Tina has a master's degree in
anthropology and journalism from the University of Montana,
USA, a Diploma in Advanced European Studies from the
College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium and a BA in political
science, French and German literature from the University of
Oslo.
Simone Williams: Simone Williams, General Counsel at Gulf
Coast Funds Management, brings nearly 10 years of
experience representing international businesses and investors
in matters relating to U.S. Immigration and Corporate
Compliance. Prior to joining GCFM, Ms. Williams worked as an
Associate for a prestigious international law firm in Toronto,
Canada. Later she transferred to the headquarters of the firm’s
Global Mobility Group in Washington, DC, where she worked
on a variety of Global Migration and Compliance related issues.
During her tenure in Washington DC, she represented
businesses and investors on matters of importance regarding
the global transfer of company personnel. She advised clients
on EB-5 Investor Visas, E Visas, O Visas, and several other
U.S Employment-Based visas for highly qualified individuals.
Ms. Williams also represented companies to the Immigration &
Customs Enforcement Agency (ICE) and the Department of
Homeland Security (DHS) regarding inquiries and legal actions.
For several companies, she provided guidance on establishing
legally sound best practices, policies, and training programs for
immigration and corporate compliance.Ms. Williams is a
member of the American Bar Association, National Bar
Association, Law Society of Upper Canada and American
Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). She is a Member of
the DC Bar, Maryland State Bar, and Ontario Bar. Ms. Williams
earned her Juris Doctor degree from Howard University School

4. of Law. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from
the University of Toronto, Canada, where she was a Nationally
Ranked Athlete in Canadian Track & Field.
