Co-Owner & Managing Partner
 Initial start up of Über Chic which entailed sourcing and purchasing of
opening stock, pricing, marketing and advertising, product stock
systems and the logistics.
 Procurement of stock from overseas suppliers from China, India,
Poland and the USA. Duties and responsibilities included design
(material/colour/shape), total units ordered, financial planning,
shipping, liaising with clearing agents and customs fulfillments.
 Conceptualize, plan and manage events from start to finish, including
creative themes, event ideas, logistics, room design and layout.
 Maintain a calendar of events and implement a system that enables
and anticipates long-term planning and effective event management for
the client.
 Budget development and management, which included preparing client
quotes as well as invoicing.
 Organize internal and external resources for the events, ensuring
integration, collaboration, cost effectiveness and the highest quality of
events.
 Assisted with on site production i.e. physical set-up and décor as well
as being the communication contact between the client and production
team to ensure that event is executed to exceed the client’s
expectations.

 Resolved any last minute problems that arise while maintaining claim
and assuring the client that it will be taken care of.
 Drew up rental contracts for both events service industry as well as for
the public.
 Managing financial obligations and long term sustainability of Uber
Chic (Pty) Ltd. Responsibilities include income and expenses,
overhead costs, profits/loss and cash flow.

Credit advisor & Construction Loans/Investments.
Mortgage Credit Advisor:
 Assisted existing and potentially new banking clients with applications
for home loans for new home loans, home loan refinancing,
construction (building), investments, property developments.
 Correct verification of all client details ranging from identification
numbers, personal details (home/work/business), property being
purchased, credit backgrounds, existing applications or home loans
and submission to credit department.
 Granting of home loans to clients with verification letter stating terms
and conditions to comply with for the bank. Extensive wording was
required so that both client and bank protected.
Construction Loans/Investments Advisor:
 Extensive knowledge of building regulations for both banking and
government departments required when dealing with applications from
clients for building work. This included all construction loans from
home/building extensions to full scale property investments. Daily goal
orientated work.
 Daily allocation of new working schedules and construction loan
applications to fellow work colleagues (building loan assessors). These
duties included verification of all applicant details, relevant and
approved building plans, costing/budgets, legal documents, property
development plans, correct property details and all outstanding work.

 Capturing and verifying all approved work schedules as well as
corrections of inaccurate property details submitted to the bank. Other
duties included storage of all new and existing building files, updating
existing property details, daily records of all work completed and
ensuring following days work is as up to date as possible.
