group code of degree students (instructions on Open UAS

 Follow the schedules weekly for possible changes.

14. Applying for a Degree Student
 Open Path Application
 At least 60 credits (ECTS) of higher education studies in Finland
that can be used as part of the degree
 All studies don’t have to be completed before the application period
ends.
 Application period is during the Open Path studies. Check the
schedule well in advance (currently 1.-15.5.)
 Joint Application
 You can also apply via Joint Application process while studying in
Open UAS

15. After you’re accepted as a degree student
 You’ll continue your studies with the 2nd year studies, usually
with the same group
 Apply for recognition of prior learning (RPL, AHOT in Finnish)
using the transcript of records for your studies in Open UAS
(sent to you after your last term)
 Ask about the practical training, if that’s part of the 1st year
studies for degree students
