guides it still through these same pastors who
continue his work today.

26. CHALLENGE OF HOLY ORDERS
•The sacrament of Holy Orders is an
essential and necessary sacrament so
that all of the baptized may participate in
the ministry of Christ.
•The Sacrament therefore provides for a
“Sense of Order” in the Church
Holy Orders is the sacrament through which the mission entrusted by Christ to his apostles continues to be exercised in the Church until the end of time: thus it is the sacrament of apostolic ministry.
****ETO MUNA BAGO EFLASH: The people of Jesus’ time regarded Jesus as a person who served, who taught with authority and who somehow had leadership qualities but He was not identify as a priest.
Thus, it is Christ whose gift it is that some be apostles, others pastors. He continues to act through the bishops.
FIRST BULLET: Those who are ordained, they exercise the a ministry of leadership which enables the Church to follow in the foosteps of Jesus.
SECOND: It therefore challenges both the ordained and the baptized members of the Church to keep Christ at the center of the Church and the World.
