13. OCUPAÇÃO GUARANI KAIOWÁ: a project developed by social scientists, lawyers, architects and urban
planners, and students of Architecture and Urban Planning in Belo Horizonte - Brazil. It envolved 140 poor
families and the whole community was engaged to develop the ocupation of an unused area in the suburbs
of Contagem, Brazil.
