3. I like the contrast of colours on
this vinyl. Yet, the album name
and songs are still easy to see
as they are placed in the smaller
circle, which makes it the thing
you’re most likely look for first
when seeing what band the vinyl
belongs too.
4. I like this vinyl sticker
because the large apple, in a
bright colour of green makes
the vinyl more eye catching,
plus it is just genuinely an
interesting sticker design.
5. I like this vinyl sticker because the
colours are very simple but stand
out very well as they are all bright
colours, the record manufacturer
and album name are also in large
text to make it noticeable.
6. Similar to the others, this vinyl sticker has
a very bright colour, most of it is just the
one solid colour, however similar to the
Foals vinyl, the rest of the sticker is
designed in the smaller circle (centre)
7. Similar to the Pearl Jam
vinyl sticker, this Nirvana
sticker has used one solid
colour (black) and
focused on the centre of
the vinyl, this would
probably mean less to
print, but possibly bring
more attention to the
record producers name
and etc.
8. What you would see of a vinyl record
● Bright/dull colours
● Name of band/music artist
● Name of record label
● Images
● Logos
● Additional information
● Song/album names
9. My Vinyl ideas:
I wanted to keep the similar design style for my
version of the vinyl. Therefore I used some of the
same colours, and also used colours from the
original CD cover too.
11. My vinyl cover ideas No.2
I prefer my first idea, because it seems more busy and less simple. For starters
it’s more visually attractive due to the image of the waves and lyrics in the
background. Secondly the fact it includes more features than the second makes it
look more less simple.
