We're Chemistry
The only people consultancy in the world that definitively predicts performance at work by designing What Great Looks Like on a role-by-role basis for your organisation. We’ve been in business for over 10 years, helping enterprise businesses all over the world transform their approach to people and optimising their workforces by applying our unique methodology and software.
1. Hi!
We’re
We give people the opportunity to be brilliant at work.
Which helps businesses do brilliant things.
2. We’re a technology-powered management
consultancy, who believe great people are the most
important part of every business.
We know one size doesn’t fit all, so we always find
‘What Great Looks Like’ for each organisation and every
role we work with. Then we use our technology to find
and develop great people.
And we’re on an incredible journey. Last year we
opened our first US office in California, we doubled our
revenue, and doubled in size. This year we plan to beat
that!
Which is where you come in…
3. Great Culture.
Chemistry is filled with talented and interesting people. We’ve
come from all kinds of different backgrounds to work on what
we believe in: Giving everybody the opportunity to be brilliant.
We work incredibly hard at what we do, and constantly
develop ourselves. But don’t worry, our culture is fun and
fascinating.
Once you’re with Chemistry, you’ll wonder why every business
doesn’t have a nutritionist providing lunch every day, you’ll
scratch your head about how a suit and tie relate to
performance in any way, and you’ll question how you ever got
through the day without 90’s hip-hop blaring in the
background.
Our kitchen is packed with healthy food and drinks to keep us
sharp.
We do have fun too. Whether that’s Friday drinks, the annual
trip to Royal Ascot, or even the odd company ski trip, you’ll be
seeing an awful lot of us if you join Chemistry.
4. Great Clients.
We may still have all the buzz of a start-up but
our client roster includes huge companies like
Vodafone, Experian, Lloyds, Primark, SAP, and
Diageo. And we’ve worked with those guys in
every unfrozen continent on the planet, so if
you’re looking for experience working with some
big names we’re the place for you.
But we don’t just work with big corporates: We
believe everyone should have an opportunity to be
brilliant. That’s why we work with Help for Heroes
to help wounded veterans, it’s why we work with
IndiGo Volunteers on projects across India and
Africa, it’s why we help Reading FC’s academy
find future premier league stars, and it’s why we
help the NHS find the staff who can deliver great
care to patients.
5. Great Work.
Our intent is to give people the opportunity to be brilliant
at work and you really do need to believe in that to work
here. There’ll be times when you’ll have to work long hours
and projects where you might tear the odd hair out but, at
the end of them, you’ll always know you gave people that
opportunity and made some peoples’ lives that little bit
better.
The only way we can do this is by being brilliant ourselves.
And this is what that means for you.
6. Product
Chemistry.at
It’s a hugely exciting time to join the Product team at
Chemistry.
We believe that psychology has the answers to some of the
world’s most important issues, like why 87% of the world’s
global workforce are either miserable or very miserable at
work…
Hence the role of our product team is to create the science,
the tools and the technology to give leaders in global
organisations the confidence to make better people
decisions.
7. Product
Chemistry.at
Our people are challenged with broad and challenging
questions like:
How do we create products that get managers to behave
differently around how they hire their people?
What does the next version of psychology look like?
What can the data collected from kids in UK football
academies tell us about psychological development and
potential in young people?
How do we change the way organisations think about
“intelligence”?
8. Who we need.
Our Business Psychologists are hell bent on creating world
class psychological content. If this describes you then you
could be what we are looking for.
We want people who could be considered an expert on
content design, working across multiple global customers.
Finally we want people who are curious. You’ll play a key part
in working on our exciting new product development
projects!
9. What you’ll do.
The Business Psychologists are the experts in the
Chemistry team, developing new or innovative
approaches to question testing and ensuring Chemistry
standards are deployed on all of our projects. You will
monitor and measure the effectiveness of our products
across the business and create reports to present back
key, on-going metrics.
As the experts, you will be used to educate the rest of
the Chemistry teams, as well as Chemistry’s customers,
as well as running accreditations and educational
workshops.
You will lead updates with the delivery team and
account teams on how Chemistry’s tools are impacting
our clients’ business performance, and creating
opportunities for their people to be brilliant.
10. Great Opportunities.
When we say our intent is to give everyone the opportunity to
be brilliant at work, of course we extend that to you.
That’s why we spend most of every single Monday working
exclusively on our development. We call this, shockingly…
‘Opportunities to be Brilliant’.
You’ll get to hear from great industry speakers, learn from
internal experts, improve your own skills, and even learn
about things like mindfulness and nutrition so that you can
be at your best every day.
We also use quarterly OKRs to make sure your development
is constantly on-going and in tune with the needs of the
business. If you need to do something to progress and do your
job better, we’ll make sure it happens.
And we’d always rather develop and promote our own people
than hire from outside. If you make it through the door, we’ll
make sure you have every opportunity to get where you want
to go – all you have to do is take it!
