2. While driving and listening to the disco station on satellite radio I begin to reminisce on the times
that I shared & friendships developed with so many thousands of people in the early 80′s leading
up to this very day. I started having parties around 1983 and continued off and on into the late
90′s. But the fun we had in high school & college from 1983-1990 was unbelievable. The impact
that “Deep House” had on us was ridiculous, being known as a “HouseHead” was a badge of
honor.
Deep house ignited a culture, people would come together to dance and get lost in the music.
We followed the dj like a he was the pied piper. Come on, the list of dj’s was as long as the line at
Cook Brothers during Christmas shopping season (west side joke haahaa). Frankie, Ron, Farley,
Lil Luis, Andre, Gene, Terry, Steve Silk, it just keeps going. They all had their own style and they
were a intricate part of the fabric of Chicago. Posts

Before disco maniacs become offended, we all know that disco was first, we’re all aware of Studio
54 and the role that disco had in the rise of deep house. Disco was a different era, the dance
start now
style was different and I honestly believe that it didn’t carry the same weight across the board in
peoples lives as deep house did. Remember it’s my opinion & I’m definitely not going to argue
about it. It’s not personal. I like what I like.
I remember it was an unwritten rule to not touch the posters promoting parties until the date
passed. Please my college dorm room had plenty of them on the wall.
Best Memories Of Disco or Deep House Parties
Wow, let me see. 1986 Bismark Hotel, 1986 InterContinental Hotel, 1986 Blackstone Hotel (that
maybe 1985, old age, getting forgetful), the first two times I went to Club LaChez, almost every
time I went to the Warehouse, I can’t remember the spot up north on Broadway, many times at
Dillagaffs in the suburbs, I’m sure there were so many others but these were the one I really
cherished.
Ron Hardy was involved in most of the spots previously mentioned and he is the greatest to
me, when he would go back & forth with the bass, speed up & slow down the music, you would
be in a trance. I didn’t drink or smoke or did drugs of any kind but it felt like being in another
world, it was a trip.
Well here’s some songs that brought the house down when they came on, long live deep house
(disco). I didn’t make it to the house picnic out south this year but keep it up.

5. Everyone has an opinion or like to speak about a particular topic. Well, look how a
young lady from the southside of Chicago became RICH doing just that, click here.
Can you believe that saving money is this easy? See what I did and what you should
also do, here. Is there anyone that doesn’t shop? Does anyone like to make money?
How about shopping and meanwhile make CASH MONEY? This is unbelievable, check
