7. NACAC 2011 Performing & Visual Arts College Fair Schedule
The NACAC Performing & Visual Arts (PVA) College Fairs are designed for students interested in pursuing
undergraduate and graduate study in the areas of music, dance, theater, visual arts, graphic design, and other related
disciplines. Held each fall, attendees learn about educational opportunities, admission and financial aid, portfolio days,
audition and entrance requirements, and much more by meeting with representatives from colleges, universities,
conservatories, festivals and other educational institutions with specialized programs in the visual and performing arts.
Fair workshops will address the questions and concerns of students seeking post-secondary options in the performing
and visual arts. Admissions professionals from top schools will be on hand to discuss information on types of college art
programs, how to select the right fit, best practices for the audition and portfolio, and how to prepare for an arts program
both creatively and academically.
