Executive Summary
We intend to develop a user-friendly mobile application that targets pet
lovers. The concept of this utility app is to add a higher level of
protection for their dog or cat to prevent from losing them. The app will
be developed using iOS and android platforms. The app will be
integrated with GPS tracking terminal which allows user to identify the
exact location of their pets. The app facilitates the user to set the
demographic information of where the pet resides and also they would
be able to set predefined distance, once the pet reaches predefined
distance the user will get an alert on their mobile device.


Executive Summary
The app also will communicate with the backend web application
where the user could be able to register, add details about the pet such
as medical records. The app will be integrated with GPS tracking
terminal which allows user to identify the exact location of their pets.
An external device “GPS collar device” or the “P.E.T Come Home Collar
Device” is required for purchase in order to activate the full
functionality of the app. How this will work is that a signal is
transmitted from the collar of the animal. Here a transmitting device
will be either built into or attached to the collar of the animal, which
transmits a signal to a satellite which is then relayed back to a web
service & the data is recorded. However the Free app will provide free
daily tips and articles for users to read on. Users can also input medical
records and relevant details of their pet. Multiple great features ported
in one app.

P.E.T Come Home is a combination of a mobile app and GPS Collar
device that will provide a new level of security and enhance your peace
of mind by being able to locate your pet’s device location at anytime
from almost anywhere via the internet, cellular phone, or from a fixed-
wire telephone. This small, disk shaped device offers added security
that has never before been available at this size and price and will
locate both indoors and outdoors.

The P.E.T Come Home product receives radio signals from the Global
Positioning Satellites orbiting the earth. Once the device is activated,
the P.E.T Come Home network will begin receiving your devices
location information by sending a private data code over the
international GSM wireless cellular phone system to the P.E.T Come
Home Network.

You will then be able to look up the information by viewing a detailed
map of the last known location of your pet at any time by going to the
internet at www.tbldevelopmentfirm.com or by calling our automated
phone system. Then you enter your secured I.D. and Password to see or
hear the location of your pet. One of the great features of P.E.T Come
Home is the ability to setup map zones so that our P.E.T Come Home
Network will alert you if your device enters or exits a customized
Danger or Safety zone that you have created. You may also have the
system trigger an “Alert” based upon the speed that your pet is
traveling. Our services are simple to use yet utilize the most advanced
Global Positioning Satellite and International Cellular location
technology in the world today.

software receivers, and network interface devices. We utilize
telecommunication services such as local and long distance
transmission of voice, graphics, data by means of
telephone, telegraphic, cable, and satellite transmissions. We also
provide a computer service by acting as an application service provider
in the field of knowledge management to host computer application
software. This software searches and retrieves information from
databases and computer networks


2.Overview
The app will be developed using iOS and android platforms. The app
will be integrated with GPS tracking terminal which allows user to
identify the exact location of their pets. The app also will be integrated
with the backend web application where the user could be able to
register, add details about the pet such as Adding Medical Records,

The app also facilitates the user to set the demographic information of
where the pet resides and also they would be able to set predefined

Mobile App Functionalities
 Once the User has downloaded the app from the App/Android store the app
should direct them to the appropriate website based on their demographic.
This is preferred but not essential as some users might want to enter data
directly from their respective phones.

 GPS tracking of the Pet (Dogs & Cats primarily). How this will work is that a
signal is transmitted from the collar of the animal. Here a transmitting device

 The distance travelled should be set at the Users discretion, but our

Mobile App Functionalities
 On the Phone/Tablet side, once an animal breaches its preset boundary, an
audible alert is sent to the device. This audible alert will be option based and
selected from the website during the User entry stage.

within its initial predetermined boundaries.


Other Functionalities
 Have a folder/Area where the user can input medical record of their pet

 The Apps need to also function as a 'QR Reader', so once this function within
the app is selected it will read the QR/Transmitter tag located on the collar of
the pet.

 Notify the user when the battery on the transmitter needs changing.

 A GUI with selectable options that can be shared through app users on the
same account to be able to notify each other if the Dog/Cat has been 'Fed,
or if the Dog has been 'Walked'

 A live calendar that sends user a pop up when an event is due within 24hrs
or overdue after 7 days of event date, including a 'Happy Birthday Gingle' for
your pet on its calendar birthday..

D. Find Pet:
 The Find Pet feature of the
App, provides user with an option
to find current location of the pet
by sitting in their home

that determined by the admin

 If the pet crosses the network
area, the app will display the “ very
last location” that covered by the
GPS

 The user can “zoom in or zoom out”
the map by using respective icons


D. Find Pet:
 Once the pet crosses the boundary

user can elect to switch off the app,

highlighted in the different color

 The user will receive a pop up when an
event is due within 24hrs or overdue
after 7 days of event date

 The user can view, edit or delete by using

G. QR Reader : The QR Reader functionality allows the user
to scan the QR Tag that stuck on to Pet’s
Tracking Device

Once the QR Tag has been scanned, the user
have the following options

 Open a URL in browser
 Share Via Email
 Share Via SMS

Once the user open the URL in browser, it
will redirect to the webpage which includes
a “basic information and medical records”
about the pet


H. Pet Care :
 The A GUI with selectable options that
will be shared through app users on the
same account to notify each other if the
pet has been 'Fed, or if the Dog has been
'Walked'

 The user can view the information about
each pet by using “Select Pet” option

 The data can be sorted using “date”

 Once the user modified the information,
he would be able to save the data using
“update” option

view/edit/delete his personal information
which he provided at the time of

up to “3 secondary level users” on his

features will be on the top of our list as the smartphone app will communicate
with the GPS Collar device attached on the pet’s neck and user will be able to
locate the exact location of his/her pet. 70% overall function of the premium
app rely on GPS, so without this feature the premium app and GPS Collar device
would be useless.

5.1 Required Features
 The GPS Features is available for premium users who purchased the app with
the GPS Collar device for their pet. Basic feature such as storing relevant
details and medical records of the pet is free

 The app will be integrated with GPS tracking terminal which allows user to
identify the exact location of their pets.

We would like to include camera features on the list since NFC only supports
Android as of the moment (does not support iPhone 4s and old versions) and
accelerometer is not relevant to the app functions. Users will enjoy taking
pictures of their pet and and the social media sharing features

 Users can choose Photo frames or placeholders (app logo and product
branding will show in the Free app version)

 This would be a fun feature for users. We will add simple camera filters and
effects where users can take pictures of their pet and share them to
Facebook and Twitter. Social Media Marketing will be working here.

A positive Evergreen possibilities and opportunities for P.E.T. Come Home and
we will attain these goals to develop the premium app. Additional
developments would be NFC enabled features and a small but functional social
website for P.E.T. Come home users. Of course we have to account these as
extra costs and expenses but if we will see an exceptional progress, then we will

9. Licensing Requirements
These statements will be incorporated with the Licensing requirements on how
users will use the mobile application with restrictions and defined limitations

1. License: Developer hereby grants to Licensee a perpetual, non-exclusive,
limited license to use the Software in the United States of America as set forth
in this Agreement.

2. Restrictions: Licensee shall not modify, copy, duplicate, reproduce, license or
sublicense the Software, or transfer or convey the Software or any right in the
Software to anyone else without the prior written consent of Developer;
provided that Licensee may make one copy of the Software for backup or
archival purposes.

3.For Users: Users must not download the app using jailbreak method nor
distribute the .ipa of the application in any manner.


10. Maintenance
For a period of 1 year following delivery of the Software to End-Users (the
"Warranty Period"), Developer warrants that the Software shall perform in all
material respects according to the Developer's specifications concerning the
Software when used with the appropriate mobile device. In the event of any
breach or alleged breach of this warranty, Liscensee shall promptly notify
Developer and return the Software to Developer at Liscensee's expense.
Liscensee's sole remedy shall be that Developer shall correct the Software so
that it operates according to the warranty. This warranty shall not apply to the
Software if modified by anyone or if used improperly or on an operating
environment not approved by Licensor.


11. Impact on Other Products
In the event of any defect in the GPS Collar device upon which the hardware is
purchased arising within 1 year warranty period of the date of delivery of the
hardware, upon return to Developer of the hardware, Company shall provide
the Customer a newly replaced GPS Collar Device.


12. Promotions
In the event of any defect in the GPS Collar device upon which the hardware is
purchased arising within 1 year warranty period of the date of delivery of the
hardware, upon return to Developer of the hardware, Company shall provide
the Customer a newly replaced GPS Collar Device.
