1. Amending Health Ordinances for Exterior Property Maintenance

• Access municipal ordinances in order to
amend exterior property ordinances.
• Provide ordinances for residents to
ensure quality of public health.
• Amend City of Rahway ordinances
to make in compliance with N.J.S.A.
• Create checklist for Health Inspectors
to use as an guideline for exterior
maintenance
• Issue out warning letters, fines, and
summons .
• Issuing fines will result in a decrease
in the number of violations and
complaints.

The number of violations will be
tracked overtime to determine the
need to update ordinances.
