• This is Buckingham Palace
• It was originally built in 1702 as
the “London House”
• To serve as a House for Royalty
• It still serves the same purpose
it served over 300 years ago
11. Leaning Tower of Pisa
• This is the Leaning Tower of Pisa
• August 9, 1173 was when this tower
was built
• This tower was built to show the
world how rich the city of Pisa was
• It is used as a sentimental object that
symbolizes how you should use your
imagination

our allies in France and as a

• Today it still serves its purpose as
the main residence for the

15. Sistine Chapel
• This is the Sistine Chapel
• Was built in August 9, 1843
• It was used for a residence for
the pope of its day
• Today it serves as more of a
museum, art more specifically
16. Taj Mahal
• This is the Taj Mahal
• Was built between 1632 to 1648
• This temple was built in memory of
the wife of the emperor Shah Jahan
• It serves today as a magnificent
tomb and also as a museum

worship for muslims

• It was built 10,000 to 8,000 years
ago
• It was built to represent the
reigning Pharaoh in the form of a
lion or god
• Today it serves as a reminder of
how great the Egyptians were in
their day
