2. Never forget where you came from… Born in Atlanta, Ga. on Fort McPherson Army Base. Grew up in Brooklyn, NY Moved to Woodbridge, VA my junior year of high school (2001). At the time, I despised my mother for making me move from the only place I knew; making me move in the middle of my high school career, for making me start all over! What I didn’t know was that this would be the best decision she has ever made for me. Who would’ve thought Virginia would be the place I’d meet people who would change my life! “Mommy knows best”!
3. Just “Potential”? In high school, I was always labeled the one with “potential”. I was never at the top of my class, although my teachers said I had the “potential”. I was never the STAR of the basketball team, however, my coaches said I had the “potential”.
4. NS(YOU) – BEHOLD the Green & Gold My senior year in high school I decided I was more than just potential! Attended Norfolk State University in 2003 In 2007, received a B.S. in Business with an Emphasis in Marketing and a B.S. in Business with an Emphasis in Management {Business School Accredited by AACSB International} GPA: 3.49/4.0
5. Now or Never… Currently a graduate student at Norfolk State University

The present is a Gift… Fall ‘09 internship with the Sports Information Office where my duties include: - Assisting the Sports Information Director and assistant SID in researching and writing content for the NSU athletics website (www.nsuspartans.com) and media guide brochures for NSU sports teams. - Working directly with the SID in maintaining historical team and player archives. - Managing press row operation, fielding interview requests and assisting media on assignment in their coverage of Spartan athletics.
7. My Future is Bright! Expected graduation date: December 2009 with a M.A. in Mass Communications with an Emphasis in Public Relations My plan is to pursue a career in Public Relations or Community Relations.
8. Life is but a dream…let’s make it reality My dream job would be to work for a professional athletic team (i.e. basketball, football, etc.) heading their community relations department.
