closing. Hired new management, inviting associates from excelling locations to meet weekly and discuss strategies.
Directed training program raising sales ranking to number 502 at year end and 305 in 2013.
Turned Around Failing Retail Operations. Juniper Print & Copy was on the verge of bankruptcy,making less than
$100K annually. Assumed leadership, focusing on innovative business development strategies and cost control
measures. Turned business around, raising revenue to $400K annually.
Implemented Accident Reduction Plan, Saving Thousands. Wal-Mart faced increasing accident reports. Drafted
accident reduction plan, overseeing implementation. Saved $60K annually in accident costs.
Assumed Leadership Over Declining Sales, Significantly Boosting Revenue. Office Depot faced declining printing
department sales. Recruited new associates, providing extensive training. Focused on new business development to
close new larger accounts. Oversaw increase in sales each month, raising department revenue 42% to $50K annually.
Improved Customer Satisfaction & Increased Employee Retention. Wal-Mart location had low customer and
associate satisfaction scores. Developed customer-centric events, gaining customer loyalty. Recognized staff members

Store Manager, Dollar Tree, November to April Managed one of the largest Dollar Tree stores. Increased sales to over
3M a year. We moved to the top 200 of the company out of 5500 stores.
District Manager, Rainier Guest Services, Summer season 2014. Managed all managers, assistant managers,
associates and all aspects of the visitor center on top of Mt. Rainier. (Including food, lodging, guest services and
souvenirs.)
District Manager, Ace Cash Express, 2013 to 2014. Manage large district of check cashing and loan stores. Improved
buyback rate of loans while increasing credit card sales among customers. Filled all positions in my areas that had been
2. vacant for months. Trained two associates to become store managers and promoted. Trained a store manager to
become a district manager. Increase revenue in the district by over $200K in just 6 months.
District Manager, Ray’s Market and Deli , 1986 to 2001. Started with company as a clerk and worked up to district
manager of 5 stores. Helped owners, after purchasing failing stores, turn them around and make them successful.

Co-Manager, Wal-Mart Supercenter, 2008 to 2012. Oversaw daily operations, cost cutting measures, customer
