E-commerce website selling rock music related wines

Introduction: I set up the e-commerce site http://www.wineandroll.co.uk in 2013 with the purpose
to connect the two things which I feel real passion for – rock music and wines. Back then it was the
first e-commerce site in the UK which are selling solely rock music related wines.
Mission: Collect and sell rock music related wines in the UK-market to the people who are
passionate towards rock music / fans related to the bands. Delivering the same passion towards
wines. Creating new and unique content on a regular basis which the target audience would find
interesting.
Target audience: 18+ rock music fans, based on the assumption that they likely purchase alcohol,
especially when it`s connected with their favourite bands.
USP: www.Wineandroll.co.uk is for a small but well targeted audience filling a gap in the UK market.
Unlike the other wine e-commerce sites it only sells rock related wines.

Achievements:
SEO optimization: I regularly check the keywords in the HTML-code of the site and following
Google search trends in Analytics. I produce new and unique content on the website and social
media channels. Typing the keyword “rock wine uk” www.wineandroll.co.uk is the first result
in Google
Generating content/Copywriting: Generating new and unique content is essential as you get
significantly more website visits / leads which hopefully end up in sales. For this reason I
started a series of wine tasting session with tasting notes written by myself and photos. It is
easy convince any third parties for example fan pages on Facebook to share my links.

Brand awareness: I gave a consistent look to the content on the website, external communication

HTML programming / Editing software use: I set up www.wineandroll.co.uk website from scratch
using a free website template of a furniture store. As I am responsible for all the content of the site
and the look I had to do a lot of HTML coding to reach a result that fits to the purpose of an e-
commerce site that sells wine. I am familiar with the photo editing softwares as well after designing
lots of flyers similar to the ones above.
About my motivation: In my current job I had a chance to gain
experience in content production and management, media planning
and copywriting. I am familiar with the working of social media
channels and trends, web-analytics and SEO due to my strong
background of digital marketing. I believe that my skills in digital
marketing, customer service and business operations would
contribute to your company`s achievements and success. What`s
more, I would like to give a way to my other passion, covering the
wines and gastronomy, and take a direction towards this field based
on my previous studies and experiences about wines and spirits. My
ideal job is where I can combine my skills in digital marketing with my passion for the wines in a
professional yet friendly workplace.
