The impact of technology

Introduction:
“The venture capitalist Marc Andreessen once said that software is eating the world. You don’t have to
look very far to see that in action” (kelvin clavaria,2019)
In these days consumers using technology for every single thing, there is a massive impact on their
entire life, starting from fast shopping and quick by two single clicks and the product is yours , so there
is no point to leave the house ( amazon prime for example) , if you have a technical issue with any item
or product you ever bought there is the support team in the internet ( even for IKEA!)
It changes the consumer life from each subject we daily use, buying food from the supermarket app or
video chat with a friend that is not in the same country you are, the technology growing is huge , as
consumers we are trying to adopt the coming and coming new updates from the technology , start with
smartphone that getting smarter and smarter every year , cars with safety GPS and cameras , clothing
with new apps shopping and free delivery , food , traveling , computers and even music and sports.
The final impact on the consumer lives is very simple, you don’t have to do a lot because the technology
is right there, you don’t have to go out with friends now or look for a t shirt in the actual store. So, as a
consumer everything must be short and simple now, fast clicks for buying something, short videos or
news at the internet, short commercial advertising, fast software for products, search for information
must be fast and accurate, and so on.

As a consumers, the access to the internet is so necessary because everythinghappensthere, now
thatthe technology completely different from the pastand the access to the internet andonline is
muchmore easier andfaster people usingit andusingthese platforms tobuy staff or getting any
informationthey can, that’swhy when the access becomes better for you, yougoing touse it more.

 the impact of the technology on the consumerlives when it comes to the devices youcan say,
WITH GOOD TEHCNOLOGY, GOOD SMARTPHONE, MOREPEOPLE, MOREINFORMATION,
MOREUSERSMORE OPTIONS.

 google is by far the mostpopularengine search in the world andYouTubeon

 Consumersusesvariouschannels to search for informationin the media, for
different reasonsyouwill go to different website divided by subjects
 Facebook become one of the mostpopularplatformsto search for
informationaboutother people buyingproductsorplaces you wantto go.
 YouTubeis the second searching engine for information, basedon videos
content, people prefer to watch videosthen read text to solve their problems
or to get their needs.

for information in the platformsabove.
 Big impact on the consumerlife when all the free informationis onthe
searching engine, youdon’tneedto leave the houseto shareideas or look to
buy a product, solveproblems, or watch a lecture

 E commerce is now one of the most common and easy things to do in the world, the e commerce same
as the technology had a massive jump over the years 2014-2019 and it just developing now and getting
more and more space in our life as a consumer
 the different between the stats of 2014 and 2019 clothing and fashion become the first place of E
commerce buying comparing to the past (last rank) so people feels more comfortable and safer to buy
clothing online.
 it come to be so easy with a lot of options where to buy how it looks like and how much time it’s going
to take (even the same products in different website).
 E commerce controlling our shopping in all subjects from toys to travel ,music and video games ,
comparing to the past there is a very big change, in the past we were struggling to trust the internet
shopping and we couldn’t even imagine an option to buy a computer or a t shirt without go to the shop
and try it or ask questions about it
 in these days everything happens in the media, it becomes so easy to get an access and convenient.
 the quality of the websites has doing a great job and making an easy life for the customers so that’s
way he will prefer to go buying online everything
 In total ,trillions of money that we buying online , every single thing that you need or offer by the
outside world stays in the media now, that’s why the pictures above us that shows us how much
money we spend and on what subject shows us that we buying everything online and it’s just the
beginning for us .
 The biggest impact on the consumer s lives is that everything stays in the internet, people buying
EVERTHING online because its much faster, there is more possibilities and its FIVE SECONDS away from
you with ONE CLICK.

 6 out of 10 people would rather watch online videos than television shows us the massive change and
the influence of the video content
 Mobile video consumption rises by 100% every year, gives us prediction what’s going to happen in the
future when we talk about video content
 By 2022, online videos will make up more than 82% of all consumer internet traffic — 15 times higher
than it was in 2017 ,shows us just how much using videos today for every single thing start from
recommendation about places or products or problems with items ,music or search for information
about things just keep massively growing
 YouTube is the second most popular website after Google,,the meaning for that shows us how much
the consumer in the world using video content almost as much they using google to get information or
to solve problems and that’s show us exactly how important today the video content and how big the
impact on the consumer life
 Users view more than 1 billion hours of video each day –on this day’s people rather watch video then
read or doing other things
 on YouTube,59% of executives say they would rather watch a video than read text oneof the biggest
reasons watching video content in the world have so much growth every year, people losing patience
to watch or read things more than a few minutes , they can’t focused in to many things and they
already busy in the next thing to do in their mind to ,and that’s why video is the best way today to
share information or to look for information for these current consumers in the world ,
 65% of people use YouTube to help them solve a problem.Shows us why and what the most popular
things users do by using video content online
 Facebook has over 8 billion video views per day and Video campaigns in LinkedIn have 50% view rates. -
other social media platform using videos as well to promote themselves and to bring more information
to the consumers.

 In 2019 it’snotjustabouteasy andfast internet access for everyone it’saboutthe need for
each consumer, people need to view the reviews before payingfor a holiday
 people need to see someonein YouTubeusingthe phonethey wantto buy before they will
decide tobuy it
 The technology become for everyone, the audience has been changingthroughthese years,
even kidsand very old people can get what they want or get personalhelp in the media, so
the numberof the users are increased as well
 When it comes to videosconsumersdon’thavethe energy or the time to waste on watching
TV or watchingexplanationsfrom peopleby text reading when it’stoo long, we like it short
andeasy and that’swhy video contentis growing andbecame the massivechange in 2019 for
the consumers
 the big impact onthe consumerslives when it comes tochanging the trendsover time is that
everythingneeds to happennowand its very available for everyone.

In conclusion the impact of the technology on the consumer lives have been massively
changed over the last years, it comes with strongest facts on few subjects in our life,
In the last few years there is hugegrowing in the amount and the speed of users that can
access the internet, it’s not just teens or social media anymore any one from anywhere can use
it and its changing our whole life as consumers, the option to use the internet for your needs
is right there (comparing to the past that the access and the number of users was low) and
the improving of the technology as well gives us more possibilities to do in theinternet
Most of the people in the world using the popular devices as smartphone tablets or laptops,
you see clearly that the number of users that havea smartphone is in BIG growing as for tablet
and laptop in today technology it becomes so comfortable for use and the prices arenot that
expensive so a lot of peoplecan afford it in extra to their smartphone
we don’t use anymore encyclopaedias , if you need information , you going online(mostly
google) , if you want to see a lecture or a movie you looking online for a video, this is the most
biggest impacts of the technology on the consumer lives, and it’s because all the answers you
want to know is in the internet , so if you need any reviews on some products or
recommendation on vacation or choose a gym , all these decision happens when you
searching for information online, the best option you got on today’s life when you searching
for information is to go online through the internet , it’s all in there,
,the consumers of today’s buying everything on the internet , clothing , movies, toys,
electronics and furniture, there is so many stores, apps, online shops, systems that can help
you choose the right thing and buy it quickly so thereis no point to leave the house and it’s a
big impact on the consumer life, so the technology have been developed and improved and
become massively big part of our lives,and because you have a smartphone and you use it all
the time there is no reason that your wants and your needs you not going to get with the
smartphone, that’s why when the technology became big as now , the consumer life is very
simpleand very easy , you want something you going online you get it in 2 min, and that’s
why people buying everything anytime
when it comes to video content, YouTube at the moment controlling the world , it’s not just
about to listen to music , it’s for everything that you need, help with mathematics homework
or watch a lecture, getting information or people trying new products , the consumption of
the video content is so big now so the impact on the consumer life was expected, , PEAOPLE
PREFER TO WATCH A VDIEIO THEN READING TEXT and it’s a fact , so on today’s lives
consumers will prefer to choose their needs and making decision with videos and no by text or
pictures , we run out of time , and we run out of patience , and that’s why when the
technology improved so the video content quality improved and the impact on the consumer
lives is very big ,
and finally all of these subjects effecting on more and last thing, and it’s the consumer trends
, so comparing to the past years when the internet and the technology wasn’t that great or
strong with not much possibilities our trends as a consumer was different, no rush take you
time think about it when you want to buy something , try a lot of places before you but it,
,but, on today trends, the consumers have no stops, they want something they will get it now,
they don’t need to consult with anyone , the only thing they need to do is to go online choose
and buy , so as for today , you can be lonely and you can be very famous without even seen
in the outside world, but as a consumers all your wants, all your desires and all your needs or
your future needs is online, so we can say that THE BIGGEST CHANGE ON THE CONSUMER
LIFE FROM THE THECHNLOGY COMPARING TO THE PAST YEEARS IS THAT IF YOU WANT
SOMETHING YOU DON’T HAVE MUCH TIME , YOU HAVE THE OPTION (ACCESS) AND THEN
YOU GET IN THE SMARTPHONE (DEVIECES) YOU LOOKING FOR INFORMATION ABOUT THAT
THING AND YOU BUT IT IN ONE CLICK.

  • 2. Introduction: “The venture capitalist Marc Andreessen once said that software is eating the world. You don’t have to look very far to see that in action” (kelvin clavaria,2019) In these days consumers using technology for every single thing, there is a massive impact on their entire life, starting from fast shopping and quick by two single clicks and the product is yours , so there is no point to leave the house ( amazon prime for example) , if you have a technical issue with any item or product you ever bought there is the support team in the internet ( even for IKEA!) It changes the consumer life from each subject we daily use, buying food from the supermarket app or video chat with a friend that is not in the same country you are, the technology growing is huge , as consumers we are trying to adopt the coming and coming new updates from the technology , start with smartphone that getting smarter and smarter every year , cars with safety GPS and cameras , clothing with new apps shopping and free delivery , food , traveling , computers and even music and sports. The final impact on the consumer lives is very simple, you don’t have to do a lot because the technology is right there, you don’t have to go out with friends now or look for a t shirt in the actual store. So, as a consumer everything must be short and simple now, fast clicks for buying something, short videos or news at the internet, short commercial advertising, fast software for products, search for information must be fast and accurate, and so on. As a consumers, the access to the internet is so necessary because everythinghappensthere, now thatthe technology completely different from the pastand the access to the internet andonline is muchmore easier andfaster people usingit andusingthese platforms tobuy staff or getting any informationthey can, that’swhy when the access becomes better for you, yougoing touse it more. Whatconsumersbuyingonline: Figure 12 stats of the shopping by the consumers at 2014, from Ystats.com,2014 Figure 11 How the consumers spend their money by categories and how much money on each category, 2019  E commerce is now one of the most common and easy things to do in the world, the e commerce same as the technology had a massive jump over the years 2014-2019 and it just developing now and getting more and more space in our life as a consumer  the different between the stats of 2014 and 2019 clothing and fashion become the first place of E commerce buying comparing to the past (last rank) so people feels more comfortable and safer to buy clothing online.  it come to be so easy with a lot of options where to buy how it looks like and how much time it’s going to take (even the same products in different website).  E commerce controlling our shopping in all subjects from toys to travel ,music and video games , comparing to the past there is a very big change, in the past we were struggling to trust the internet shopping and we couldn’t even imagine an option to buy a computer or a t shirt without go to the shop and try it or ask questions about it  in these days everything happens in the media, it becomes so easy to get an access and convenient.  the quality of the websites has doing a great job and making an easy life for the customers so that’s way he will prefer to go buying online everything  In total ,trillions of money that we buying online , every single thing that you need or offer by the outside world stays in the media now, that’s why the pictures above us that shows us how much money we spend and on what subject shows us that we buying everything online and it’s just the beginning for us .  The biggest impact on the consumer s lives is that everything stays in the internet, people buying EVERTHING online because its much faster, there is more possibilities and its FIVE SECONDS away from you with ONE CLICK.

Onlinevideo consumption: Figure 13 what kind of activities by the video content streaming , from global digital reports Figure,2019, Figure 14-time spent om digital video from Emarketer ,2017-2018  6 out of 10 people would rather watch online videos than television shows us the massive change and the influence of the video content  Mobile video consumption rises by 100% every year, gives us prediction what’s going to happen in the future when we talk about video content  By 2022, online videos will make up more than 82% of all consumer internet traffic — 15 times higher than it was in 2017 ,shows us just how much using videos today for every single thing start from recommendation about places or products or problems with items ,music or search for information about things just keep massively growing  YouTube is the second most popular website after Google,,the meaning for that shows us how much the consumer in the world using video content almost as much they using google to get information or to solve problems and that’s show us exactly how important today the video content and how big the impact on the consumer life  Users view more than 1 billion hours of video each day –on this day’s people rather watch video then read or doing other things  on YouTube,59% of executives say they would rather watch a video than read text oneof the biggest reasons watching video content in the world have so much growth every year, people losing patience to watch or read things more than a few minutes , they can’t focused in to many things and they already busy in the next thing to do in their mind to ,and that’s why video is the best way today to share information or to look for information for these current consumers in the world ,  65% of people use YouTube to help them solve a problem.Shows us why and what the most popular things users do by using video content online  Facebook has over 8 billion video views per day and Video campaigns in LinkedIn have 50% view rates. - other social media platform using videos as well to promote themselves and to bring more information to the consumers. . Consumertrends: Figure 17-18 consumers trends in 2019 from different categories, from fashion united,2018  differences in the trends over these years is how the consumeractions needsand thinkingchangingevery year, the technology improvingandso is the media, so automatically the optionsandthe speed andthe opportunitiesare growing.  In 2019 it’snotjustabouteasy andfast internet access for everyone it’saboutthe need for each consumer, people need to view the reviews before payingfor a holiday  people need to see someonein YouTubeusingthe phonethey wantto buy before they will decide tobuy it  The technology become for everyone, the audience has been changingthroughthese years, even kidsand very old people can get what they want or get personalhelp in the media, so the numberof the users are increased as well  When it comes to videosconsumersdon’thavethe energy or the time to waste on watching TV or watchingexplanationsfrom peopleby text reading when it’stoo long, we like it short andeasy and that’swhy video contentis growing andbecame the massivechange in 2019 for the consumers  the big impact onthe consumerslives when it comes tochanging the trendsover time is that everythingneeds to happennowand its very available for everyone. I want it now I don’t have time to waste When it’s toolong its boring, somake it short and simple If I have a problem, I will look for informationin the searchingengine or a video that explainme better. I don’t need toleave the house to purchase product eat or drink. Summary: In conclusion the impact of the technology on the consumer lives have been massively changed over the last years, it comes with strongest facts on few subjects in our life, In the last few years there is hugegrowing in the amount and the speed of users that can access the internet, it’s not just teens or social media anymore any one from anywhere can use it and its changing our whole life as consumers, the option to use the internet for your needs is right there (comparing to the past that the access and the number of users was low) and the improving of the technology as well gives us more possibilities to do in theinternet Most of the people in the world using the popular devices as smartphone tablets or laptops, you see clearly that the number of users that havea smartphone is in BIG growing as for tablet and laptop in today technology it becomes so comfortable for use and the prices arenot that expensive so a lot of peoplecan afford it in extra to their smartphone we don’t use anymore encyclopaedias , if you need information , you going online(mostly google) , if you want to see a lecture or a movie you looking online for a video, this is the most biggest impacts of the technology on the consumer lives, and it’s because all the answers you want to know is in the internet , so if you need any reviews on some products or recommendation on vacation or choose a gym , all these decision happens when you searching for information online, the best option you got on today’s life when you searching for information is to go online through the internet , it’s all in there, ,the consumers of today’s buying everything on the internet , clothing , movies, toys, electronics and furniture, there is so many stores, apps, online shops, systems that can help you choose the right thing and buy it quickly so thereis no point to leave the house and it’s a big impact on the consumer life, so the technology have been developed and improved and become massively big part of our lives,and because you have a smartphone and you use it all the time there is no reason that your wants and your needs you not going to get with the smartphone, that’s why when the technology became big as now , the consumer life is very simpleand very easy , you want something you going online you get it in 2 min, and that’s why people buying everything anytime when it comes to video content, YouTube at the moment controlling the world , it’s not just about to listen to music , it’s for everything that you need, help with mathematics homework or watch a lecture, getting information or people trying new products , the consumption of the video content is so big now so the impact on the consumer life was expected, , PEAOPLE PREFER TO WATCH A VDIEIO THEN READING TEXT and it’s a fact , so on today’s lives consumers will prefer to choose their needs and making decision with videos and no by text or pictures , we run out of time , and we run out of patience , and that’s why when the technology improved so the video content quality improved and the impact on the consumer lives is very big , and finally all of these subjects effecting on more and last thing, and it’s the consumer trends , so comparing to the past years when the internet and the technology wasn’t that great or strong with not much possibilities our trends as a consumer was different, no rush take you
  • 11. time think about it when you want to buy something , try a lot of places before you but it, ,but, on today trends, the consumers have no stops, they want something they will get it now, they don’t need to consult with anyone , the only thing they need to do is to go online choose and buy , so as for today , you can be lonely and you can be very famous without even seen in the outside world, but as a consumers all your wants, all your desires and all your needs or your future needs is online, so we can say that THE BIGGEST CHANGE ON THE CONSUMER LIFE FROM THE THECHNLOGY COMPARING TO THE PAST YEEARS IS THAT IF YOU WANT SOMETHING YOU DON’T HAVE MUCH TIME , YOU HAVE THE OPTION (ACCESS) AND THEN YOU GET IN THE SMARTPHONE (DEVIECES) YOU LOOKING FOR INFORMATION ABOUT THAT THING AND YOU BUT IT IN ONE CLICK.
