During my research I have found many items that I could use for my film. This many items would be difficult to travel with so I will have
to take a few items at a time. this would mean I need to know what to use on each shooting day so managing this makes it easier to
remember what I need each day. Managing the cost of the items will give me understanding of how much money I need to save.
Finding out what I already own would also save money.

8. PERSONNEL
DIRECTOR
• Tahmid Ahmed (me)
There has been various changes during my time through planning such as casting changes and scrapped ideas. For
example I originally wanted Jake Greenwood to play as Seth Badgers but the difficulties with scheduling had me
looking for other actors thus Ben Senior took the role. I was also searching for a female to play the character that
operated the sound however after no luck I took the role. Since I there is a gender change, it has turned my target
audiences slightly as well has twisting some scenes. I would have also wanted extra people to be the equipment crew
but this will make scheduling more convoluted and with my cast already playing as an equipment crew makes things
easier.
A-LIST CAST

• James Case – Zack the camera man
• Tahmid Ahmed (me) – Kayeed the sound guy
B-LIST CAST

10. TIME
TIME THAT I HAVE
Time on production – 4 weeks
Hours in a week – 27 hours
Hours in 4 weeks – 108 hours
FILMING TIME
EDITING
Time I have to edit – college days – 6 days – 102 hours
Putting/trimming footage together – day 1 = 7 hours 30
minutes.
Colour grading – day 2 = 6 hour 30 minutes
Animated intro – day 3 and 4 = 10 hours 30 minutes
Editing sound – day 5 = 6 hour 30 minutes
Refining film – day 6 = 3 hours
days I have to film – Easter holidays (takeaway work
days) – 6 days
Day shots (only Dan stables) – 5:00pm to 9:00pm = 4
hours
Day shots (Ben and James) – 10:00am to 9:00pm = 11
hours
Night shots (everyone) – 9:00pm to 12:00am = 3 hours
Hours in total – 14 hours
I have chosen to film during the holidays since it seems to be the best days for my cast and me without the interference
of college and work days. Judging by my casts shifts I have made this to manage how many hours I will be able to
shoot. I have organized Dan Stable’s hours separately since I only have him free after 5:00pm. Since my film is going to
be shot in the day and night means I have to organize the day hours and night hours separately. This will have us
prepared and organized.

47. COLOUR SCHEME
This colour scheme consists with high saturated bright earthy colours. This makes sense since my film is set in a forest.
This will mostly be during the beginning of the film as the high saturation will reflect the positive nature of the characters.
The colour grading is fairly typical for a wildlife documentary since it appears more professional and makes the wild feel
more alive. This means all my documentary shots will have this colour scheme such as the intro and animal inspections.
My characters are more relaxed an unaware of the danger ahead so this colour scheme will transfer this affect to the
audience. the bright saturated colours will help trick the audience into actually believing my film is a genuine documentary
which will emphasizing the slow twist.
Keeping with the earthy colours since the setting doesn’t change, the colours have de-saturated. This will be used in the
behind the scene shots such as the vlogs and outtakes which is midway through the film. This is because the low
saturation represents the unedited camera shots which differentiates the real shots to the documentary shots. This will
also reflect the characters tension when the situation gradually gets more sinister. The setting literally gets darker since the
characters will be active over night. The de-saturated and the up and coming night combined creates a discomforting
sensation for the audience foreshadowing a greater threat within the night.
48. IMAGE STYLE FONTS
This is my favourite font that I have found as it as inspired me
most. The simple yet convincing chipped edge design expresses
the wild theme. This is because gives off an animalistic clawed
connotations without it being too realistic. The cartoonish style
with the slanted letters already makes it look very approachable
to animated. This will give my documentary a typical innocent
vibe like most wildlife shows. I also like the warm orange colour
within “GO” as it comes across very safe and positive.
This one Is much more mature compared to the last font however
is does have some features I like. The aspect I honestly dislike is
the font shape itself however it may be appropriate for my
documentary. This is because of my somewhat graphic content
such as the dead animals. The feature I most like are the animal
patterns scattered around the font. Since my documentary is
about solving mystical and obscure cases related with animals. I
could replace the animal patterns with animal footprints as it will
be very fitting to investigative theme representing a cliché clue.
This font has a balance between looking mature and
innocent since it uses a basic font while being in a
cartoonish texture. I could adapt this idea and make it into
various different nature themed textures. This opens up
many ideas for animations.
This is the breaking trails opening title that I have gained
much inspiration from. This is because of how similar the
work is
