Berserk:
• The story follows a mysterious and
hardened warrior named Guts, who is
searching for information on a group of
demonic all-powerful beings known as
the God Hand.
• The comic in generally does not have
colour as it is cheap however it gives
the comic a very dark tone which it
should be as the story has violent gory
scenes.
• I like the theme and genre of the comic
as it can relate to mine because it is a
fantasy adventure and the story
includes creatures like goblins, orcs and
demons.
Existing Product
Spider-man
• Fictional character biography.
The spider bite that gave Peter
Parker his powers. high school
student Peter Parker is a science-
whiz orphan living with his Uncle
Ben and Aunt May.
• The comic is by marvel and they
are a huge comic company.
Spiderman is also a popular
comic. It has brightly coloured art
and mixtures of art styles.
• i use this as inspiration as its
about a young character with
powers becoming a hero. The art
style is also very inspirational for
my product.
Existing Product
Game of Thrones
• This comic is based of the books “a
song of fire and ice” which is very
popular. The story takes place in
westeros, a fantasy place filled with
drama between houses which
causes war and violence.
• The comic has a great lore story
which foreshadows a lot. The GOT
world includes fantasy creatures
and medieval inspired location,
props and landscapes.
• This comic is very similar and
inspiration because of the dark
tone in style and story as it includes
a gore, violence and strong
language.
Existing Product
Thor
• Odin wooed Gaea, the earth goddess, and
from their union Thor was born in a small
cave in Norway on Earth. Odin took him
to be raised in Asgard by his wife, Frigga.
The young Thor grew up alongside his
adopted brother Loki, the trickster, who
was always jealous of his more favored
sibling.
• the Thor story is very different to others
as it takes place in the modern era
however it doesn't’t take place on earth
so they wear old Norse clothing. He also
fights alongside with other marvel heroes.
• This can be similar to my project as the
vibrant colours are very realistic and eye
catching as the magic. The colours are
also used whenever he uses his thunder
giving it powerful look
Research Analysis
• What common features do the researched products have?
- They all has have a similar colour scheme accept for berserk as they don’t use
colour at all. The colouring are computer work as they are very vibrant and
bright which gives a positive outcome to the story.
- They all have big titles which gives a great look overall as it tells u what the
comic is called in stylish way
- They are all different in terms of restriction in ASA codes with violence, gore
and strong language as some are for children and some are for adults. This can
effect the story in a positive or negative way.
• What aspects of the research will you include within your on work?
- I would like to add good use of colours as it can bring alive my story however it
is expensive and difficult to master.
- I want my story to be a dark fantasy which would include violent scenes.
- The tone would be dark which is very similar to berserk.

  • 2. Existing Product Berserk: • The story follows a mysterious and hardened warrior named Guts, who is searching for information on a group of demonic all-powerful beings known as the God Hand. • The comic in generally does not have colour as it is cheap however it gives the comic a very dark tone which it should be as the story has violent gory scenes. • I like the theme and genre of the comic as it can relate to mine because it is a fantasy adventure and the story includes creatures like goblins, orcs and demons.
  • 3. Existing Product Spider-man • Fictional character biography. The spider bite that gave Peter Parker his powers. high school student Peter Parker is a science- whiz orphan living with his Uncle Ben and Aunt May. • The comic is by marvel and they are a huge comic company. Spiderman is also a popular comic. It has brightly coloured art and mixtures of art styles. • i use this as inspiration as its about a young character with powers becoming a hero. The art style is also very inspirational for my product.
  • 4. Existing Product Game of Thrones • This comic is based of the books “a song of fire and ice” which is very popular. The story takes place in westeros, a fantasy place filled with drama between houses which causes war and violence. • The comic has a great lore story which foreshadows a lot. The GOT world includes fantasy creatures and medieval inspired location, props and landscapes. • This comic is very similar and inspiration because of the dark tone in style and story as it includes a gore, violence and strong language.
  • 5. Existing Product Thor • Odin wooed Gaea, the earth goddess, and from their union Thor was born in a small cave in Norway on Earth. Odin took him to be raised in Asgard by his wife, Frigga. The young Thor grew up alongside his adopted brother Loki, the trickster, who was always jealous of his more favored sibling. • the Thor story is very different to others as it takes place in the modern era however it doesn't’t take place on earth so they wear old Norse clothing. He also fights alongside with other marvel heroes. • This can be similar to my project as the vibrant colours are very realistic and eye catching as the magic. The colours are also used whenever he uses his thunder giving it powerful look
  • 6. Research Analysis • What common features do the researched products have? - They all has have a similar colour scheme accept for berserk as they don’t use colour at all. The colouring are computer work as they are very vibrant and bright which gives a positive outcome to the story. - They all have big titles which gives a great look overall as it tells u what the comic is called in stylish way - They are all different in terms of restriction in ASA codes with violence, gore and strong language as some are for children and some are for adults. This can effect the story in a positive or negative way. • What aspects of the research will you include within your on work? - I would like to add good use of colours as it can bring alive my story however it is expensive and difficult to master. - I want my story to be a dark fantasy which would include violent scenes. - The tone would be dark which is very similar to berserk.
