2. Audience
Our music video is going to be aimed at a young
generation of teenagers who may be students in high
school or university. In addition to this our audience
are also young adults. We don't want our music video to
be aimed to just teens and young adults, however we would
like it to be for media students and others who produce
music videos and film. This would allow them to gain
possible ideas from the music video, also the various
locations. Further as we are going to be completing our
music video in London, our music video could open up to
people who love the city of London. We will be going to
locations such as Covent Garden, Embankment, Brick lane
near Liverpool Street famously known for its street art
and cultural food. Furthermore, we will be also going to
Piccadilly circus which is famously known for its busy
streets, trains and large shopping community.
3. Style
Narrative and Concept
We have decided to do our video as a narrative combined
with some parts which are concept, as we will film
various locations. Also we will film on tubes and buses
relating to the to the lyrics ‘ the city’. We want to
make the artist appear to be alone in the large city of
London. In addition we want the artist to look as if he
is distant from home and he is getting used to the
London streets (life) by himself , this idea is taken
from the lyrics‘ This is now my home’.
4. Artist Style
Our artist has a modern and urban, but neutral look. We
would like our artist to wear black, skinny jeans, or chino
trousers. Along with a t-shirt with simple trainers and a
hood over his t-shirt. We chose this look to emphasise the
fact he is new to London; therefore giving him a look which
doesn’t make him stand out.
