Sediment Accumulation and Flow Capacity Analysis
§ Hydraulic model update: Develop 1D/2D HEC-RAS unsteady
state and 1D HEC-RAS steady state model.
§ Evaluate flow capacity and identify levee freeboard
deficiencies. Remove sediment to reestablish levee freeboard
for FEMA levee accreditation.
§ Estimation of sediment removal required to achieve 1943
base project geometry.
§ Feasibility study was awarded to Consultant Wilson-Freese
and Nichols Joint Venture in September 2019.
§ Completed by mid 2021.
