LinkedIn Messaging now has the ability to Forward a message text. Not the entire thread, rather just one of the sent/received messages in the thread. this could be useful in numerous ways.
2. Desktop - Hover your mouse over text you want to forward.
iPhone - Press on the text you want to forward
Click on the Forward Arrow
3. Select How you want to forward the text of the
LinkedIn Message
Click on the option you want to
use.
4. Forward via Message opens a new message and
allows you to select the recipient
The forwarded message will only
show the original message
sender’s name.
i.e.
If you select text you sent it shows
your name.
If you select text you received, it
shows the original sender's name.
5. Forward via email will fire off your default email
application
Whether forwarding via message or email, you get to add text to the forwarded message.
6. How can we use this new feature productively?
One idea is we can capture ideas and information from one LinkedIn Member and then share it with others,
where relevant and useful.
