2. THE
WHEEL
SPEAKS
ON
2013
–
I’ve
Tried,
I’ve
Cried
&
Finally
I’ve
Said
Good
Bye
Trashmen
didn't
get
my
trash
today
Oh,
why?
Because
they
want
more
pay
Buses
on
strike
want
a
raise
in
fare
So
they
can
help
pollute
the
air
But
that's
what
makes
the
world
go
'round
The
up
and
down,
the
carousel
Changing
people,
they'll
go
around
Go
underground,
young
man
People
make
the
world
go
'round
Wall
Street
losin'
dough
on
ev'ry
share
They're
blaming
it
on
longer
hair
Big
men
smokin'
in
their
easy
chairs
On
a
fat
cigar
without
a
care
But
that's
what
makes
the
world
go
'round
The
up
and
down,
the
carousel
Changing
people,
they'll
go
around
Go
underground,
young
man
People
make
the
world
go
'round
instrumental
break
But
that's
what
makes
the
world
go
'round
The
up
and
down,
the
carousel
Changing
people,
they'll
go
around
Go
underground,
young
man
People
make
the
world
go
'round
People
make
the
world
go
'round
People
make
the
world
go
'round
People
make
the
world
go
'round
People
make
the
world
go
'round
3.
In
1972
although
only
a
6th
grader
the
lyrics
to
a
very
popular
song
by
the
Stylistics
entitled
“People
Make
The
World
Go
Round”
was
one
of
my
very
favorites.
Being
in
12
years
old
singing
a
song
so
dramatic
in
context
to
so
many
seem
a
little
strange
for
a
kid.
But
I
was
always
for
some
reason
very
connected
to
songs
that
I
felt
not
only
were
popular
but
the
ones
I
noticed
adults
really
seem
to
attract
to
as
well
which
told
a
true
story.
Like
many
of
us
for
so
many
years
we’ll
sing
these
songs
word
by
words
memorized
but
not
truly
digesting
what
we’ve
sang
for
decades
until
you
can
personally
connect
with
it.
Lyrics
make
things
that
can
be
so
difficult
easy
to
explain
because
truthfully
although
we
live
in
a
different
era
nothings
change
in
regards
to
the
decisions
we
make
in
what
is
our
lives
as
a
collective
people.
In
other
words
majority
rules
whether
it
be
by
the
objective
process
of
voting.
Or
the
selective
process
of
power,
which
in
todays
society
seems
to
have
become
unfortunately
something
to
many
people
have
literally
comfortably
accepted
to
be
directive
wise
more
of
a
monarchy.
Jersey
City
like
many
major
cities
throughout
the
United
States
is
at
a
crossroads
and
although
some
aren’t
even
really
cognizant
of
it
we’re
right
there.
And
within
the
next
few
days
there
will
be
decisions
made
that
won’t
just
effect
the
next
few
years
but
which
will
effect
Jersey
City
and
other
cities
nationally
like
ours
for
decades
if
this
democratic
process
turns
regrettably
down
the
wrong
road.
crossroads
|ˈkrôsˌrōdz|
noun
an
intersection
of
two
or
more
roads.
•
a
point
at
which
a
crucial
decision
must
be
made
that
will
have
far-‐reaching
consequences
The
Commander
and
Chief
of
the
free
world
Barack
Hussein
Obama
has
throughout
this
nation
endorse
especially
Mayor’s
who
in
his
opinion
will
keep
cities
on
course.
On
course
in
regards
to
not
what
one
man
envisions
a
cities
direction
to
be
but
what
a
President
envisions
in
particularly
a
nation
of
cities
to
adhere
to
which
is
unison.
These
times
and
particularly
when
it
comes
to
politics
certain
people
have
to
be
not
only
watched
but
particularly
close
attention
has
to
be
paid
to
incentive.
When
an
individual
makes
a
responsibility
as
personal
race
or
especially
a
marketing
ploy
for
him
self
there
is
lots
to
be
afraid
of.
And
there’s
a
lot
more
to
be
frighten
of
then
many
of
us
would
like
to
address
especially
publicly
but
in
the
privacy
of
friends
we’ll
voice
these
fears
questions
and
concerns
that
may
be
on
the
tips
of
our
tongues.
But
it
will
be
addressed
right
now
making
it
inexcusable
on
the
15th
of
May
for
anyone
to
have
a
complaint
about
anything,
especially
if
you
don’t
vote.
4.
A
Caesar
like
dictatorship
seems
to
be
hovering
on
the
horizon
and
the
same
people
who
intensely
even
border
on
being
disrespectful
if
you
don’t
see
it
aren’t
waiting
for
confirmation
anymore.
Like
the
Roman
Empire
centuries
ago
which
led
by
General
Julius
Caesar
power
was
acquired
by
invading
territory
and
Jersey
City
has
surely
been
invaded
but
we
won’t
hear
an
arrogant
proclamation
of
a
victory
especially
now,
at
least
not
yet.
But
it
should
be
dully
notated
there
are
people
walking
in
the
communities
seeking
your
votes
who
have
before
and
will
again
proclaim
themselves
winners
and
everybody
else
losers
who
weren’t
along
for
the
pompous
ride
from
the
beginning.
In
all
truthfulness
if
being
a
part
of
a
selective
group
of
people
means
totally
alienating
your
own
people
would
you
be
comfortable?
I
am
very
much
aware
of
so
many
folks
who
although
they
may
have
been
quiet
for
months
maybe
years
they’ve
awaken
and
believe
it
or
not
thanks
to
the
elitist
group
of
revelers
who
are
even
taking
notice.
As
I
have
mention
after
elections
in
the
past
don’t
under
any
circumstances
be
under
the
impression
that
a
victory
necessarily
means
one
is
victorious
or
is
especially
a
winner.
Was
Adolph
Hitler
a
winner
was
the
aforementioned
Julius
Caesar
a
winner
or
was
George
W.
Bush
Jr.
victorious?
Jersey
City
wasn’t
suddenly
erected
5
or
6
years
ago
as
seemingly
some
would
suggest
it
has
been.
Jersey
City
is
populated
by
families
of
all
races
who
have
been
born
and
raised
here
and
campaign
strategies
have
changed
so
often
with
a
certain
camp
much
can
be
blamed
on
certain
people
who
have
actually
turned
there
backs
on
there
own
people.
Some
who
have
grown
up
in
the
same
housing
projects
their
parents
may
have
been
raised
in
who
suddenly
look
back
at
others
as
if
they’re
above
the
same
people
they’ll
disingenuously
attempt
to
lure
their
votes
on
May
14th.
But
on
May
15th
what
happens
and
truthfully
if
what
happen
after
the
election
in
November
of
2012
is
an
indication
of
what
is
to
be
are
you
ready?
Ready
to
be
publicly
defame
or
treated
as
if
you
are
a
2nd
class
group
of
people
especially
in
Ward
F
or
are
you
ready
to
make
what’s
a
responsible
and
poetic
choice?
During
this
entire
campaign
you’ll
never
hear
in
particularly
an
individual
who
was
actually
cultivated
in
the
same
deceptive
corporate
areas
as
a
thieves
like
former
Governor
Jon
Corzine
who
couldn’t
account
for
billions
of
dollars.
Like
many
are
very
much
aware
this
is
a
democracy
and
voting
for
the
person
of
your
choice
is
your
right
and
under
no
circumstances
should
you
be
influence
by
a
commercial
or
pretty
literature
about
how
you
want
to
vote.
In
some
instances
it
would
be
safe
to
assume
progressive
thoughts
are
better
but
don’t
mistakenly
confuse
the
aforementioned
thought
with
the
word
oppressive
because
in
particularly
the
black
community
will
suffer
if
we
don’t
prioritize
and
united
this
