Growth in federal IT spending is expected to be marginal in 2012
(and likely again in 2013)



•    The 2012 Federal IT budget request is $80.9 billion, up 2.7% from $78.8
     billion in the 2011 budget.

•    TBR estimates 52% of the spend will be civilian, rising 2.5% to 3.0%;
     48% will be defense-related, with flat to 0.5% growth.

•    Not all departments/agencies will see an increase; some are facing steep
     cuts.
