This is a step by step guide to get started with the TAUS DQF API and MateCat. Links are interactive. For how to get credentials for the TAUS DQF please refer to the "Credentials" presentation.
2. } To create projects in DQF, you need a
project manager key
} To view the advanced reports in the TAUS Quality
Dashboard, you need a TAUS account for the DQF
tools
3. } If you already have an account (e.g. as TAUS member or
subscriber) you can log in to MY TAUS at
https://www.taus.net/login
} If you don't have a TAUS account yet, you can sign-up for
one by following the instructions on the TAUS page.
4. } After you have logged in, you can retrieve your key by
clicking on your DQF Account tab next to your name.
5. } You will be redirected to your Project Manager API key.
6. } Create a project in MateCat (https://www.matecat.com)
by selecting the language pairs and uploading the files to
translate.
7. } Make sure you have a TAUS Project Manager key ready.
} Click on Options and paste your PM Key in the input field as
shown in the image below.
8. } Click on Analyze and you will be taken to the Analysis
page.
10. } Have your document translated in the translation editor
just like you would do for any job. Once you have
translated a few segments or completed the job, click on
the link Editing log at the bottom of the page.
11. } From the Editing log page, click on the link that will
redirect you to the TAUS Quality Dashboard page.
12. } You will find the DQF reports for all your projects by
clicking on the Reports tab.
