Discover how geospatial data can transform the way you analyze your business information. With streamlined data enrichment, you can add context to your data and move from basic insights to in-depth analysis that reveals the "who," "where," and "why" of your business operations. We'll discuss the benefits of using business addresses, geocoding, and unique identifiers to maximize the value of your data in various IT environments, and we'll also demonstrate how you can quickly enrich your data within cloud platforms like Snowflake and Databricks.
We will share how our customers are:
· Improving analytical models and organize addresses using a unique ID to easily append business context, property details, demographic data, and more
· Enhancing property insight for network planning and marketing – especially for telcos and utility businesses
· Managing global streaming content delivery and resource allocation based on a device’s location – using up-to-date administrative and postal boundaries
Join us to learn how geospatial insights and streamlined enrichment can unlock the full potential of your business data. In this webinar, we will:
· Explore the various types of data enrichment available: adding a lat/long (geocode), 3rd party data, derived attributes based on spatial analysis
· Share how to streamline data enrichment in your existing IT environments
· Describe how observability makes intelligent observations, identifies anomalies in your data’s volumes, values, and freshness and provides suggested remediation actions.

DATA CHALLENGES
Data scientists needed data to feed
the ML models
• Standardizing data coming from
different sources
• Verifying accuracy of the data
• Feeding data to ML models with
maximum accuracy and consistency
• Enriching in-house data with accurate
third-party data to feed models and
provide lift
SOLUTION
Data scientists in AI lab:
• Standardized and verified the property
addresses
• Geocoded addresses (added
latitude/longitude coordinates)
• Assigned a unique identifier to each
address
• Enriched their data using the id – also
available in the 3rd party datasets
BUSINESS VALUE
• Improved trust in the models they were
building
• Reduced time for data standardization
and preparation
• Cloud-native geo addressing with
curated datasets reduced time to build

Story points ---
Businesses rely on trusted data to make good business decisions.
Key business initiatives in 2022 revolve around transforming customer experiences, applying AI to proven business cases to derive new insights and increase efficiency, leveraging the power of location to solve new problems (optional light call out to covid-19 problems being solved), and ensuring that the business is secure and compliant.
Each of these initiatives is heavily dependent upon integrated, clean, accurate, contextualized, enriched data in order to deliver the maximum benefit to the organization. (Transition to next slide showing stats on data challenges.)
Let’s talk about a story example showing a Telco organization is facing in his spatial data world:
The story starts with the Leadership asking: How do we improve our financial results?
Business users are facing and working with Spatial Data every day. They are asking themself:
How much this unsecure data impact our customer services and marketing performance?
Where this data come from? Are we looking at the latest release of the signal coverage? Can we share this data? Who is the owner of the data and can take actions?
The story ends with Data /Spatial Teams realizing that there are questions not answered, and asking if they govern Spatial Data and Spatial Analytics data services. Finally, Leadership - we need a Governance program that can govern our Spatial Data!
But data integrity is a journey. That’s one thing we hear loud and clear when we talk to our customers. Everyone is on a journey to continuously improve the integrity of their data, better understand their business, and ultimately better serve their customers.
There are many different steps along the path to data integrity…. like integrating siloed data, measuring its quality, adding location intelligence, and enriching it with 3rd party data to name just a few.
But we have learned from our customers is that there isn’t a standard, linear journey to data integrity that works for everyone… and that the days of large corporate initiatives are dead. Customers told us that their business and IT teams are working more closely together than ever… jointly identifying the specific scope that delivers meaningful business impact. And as a result, they tackle data integrity through distinct projects that give them business value… no matter where those steps fit into this journey… and then plan their next move. And not surprisingly, that mean they want solutions that give them the freedom to make those choices.
Data integrity is a journey. It’s continuous. And it requires best-in-class solutions working together to deliver value to the business.
Geospatial and Data mean different things to different people and within different industries, so I wanted to start by setting a baseline for what mean when we say Geospatial Data, as well as what we don't cover
The first step in most online ordering processes, is providing an address to determine your eligibility.
We do this with 3 categories of capabilities:
Geo addressing which verifies postal addresses, adds the latitude/longitude coordinates, and assigns a unique identifier to streamline data enrichment.
We have a large data enrichment portfolio which is used to add relevant context to your business data.
And finally, our spatial analytics capabilities which can create and expose new derivative attributes such as aggregating data to understand distance, geometry, density, and more.
So let’s look at this first customer.
Which is an on-demand video streaming service, and they needed better control of their content that is being viewed internationally. They know the device location, but they didn’t have accurate or complete international administrative boundaries. Without them, they couldn’t control what content they could offer to specific devices, and it was difficult to:
grow subscribers
target their advertising
and ensure they have resources to deliver a seamless viewing experience during times of high-demand
So now they are using spatial analytics and data enrichment capabilities by using accurate international boundaries to precisely determine where devices are located, what content they can view, and better plan and scale up resources when anticipating high-demand periods.
A positive viewing experience ensures customer satisfaction. Secondarily, their marketing department is using this information to help grow their business, and develop their marketing campaigns.
