2. Introduction
Hello! My name is Zoe. I am nine years old now. I would like to
assist parents in teaching their “little ones” (child, or children)
about morning, and bed time routines.
Shall we begin?
4. In the morning
-Take a shower, or bath.
-I put on my moisturizer (lotion, oil, or etc.,)
-I dress myself. Put on my clothes for the day.
-I put my pajamas from last night in the hamper.
-I eat my breakfast. (With juice, or milk)
-I brush my teeth, and floss.
-When it is time to leave I have on my coat, shoes, back pack, hat, and
etc.
(Some households may have religious routines included as well)
8. At the end of the day
At the end of the day after day care, summer camp,
or after school.
Some times it is good to give your self, and your
child(ren) 30 minutes (or so) to play at the park, or
on the school play ground (before returning home)
so you have time to relax, unwind, and transition
to returning home to settle in for the evening,
and begin your bedtime routines.
9. Evening routines
-I put away my coat, hat, and shoes.
-I put away my back pack, and lunch box.
-I try to read 20 minutes before bed time, or work
on homework.
-We eat dinner together as a family.
-I take a bath, or shower.
-I put moisturizer on my skin (lotion, or oil), and my pajamas.
-I put my clothes from the day in my hamper.
-Before bed I brush, and floss my teeth.
(Check with your child’s dentist. Some dentist recommend parents assist their
children with brushing and, flossing your child’s teeth to prevent cavities,
etc.)
(Also, some families may have religious routines at night before bed time.)
10. What routines do you and your child(ren)have?
