To whom it may concern,
I am currently a student in my second year at the University of Waterloo studying under the
Honours Biology program.
I believe I would be a great asset to your company because of the various skills and
experiences I have gained through past work experiences. While occupied at Shores Diagnostics, I
preformed bone density tests to determine states of osteoporosis as well as assisting in insurance
verification. Though these tasks I became adept at serving others and attending to their needs, as
well as gained proficiency in organization and applying problem solving skills to changing situations.
Working at l’Arche Daybreak taught me patience and practice of careful procedure as I worked and
lived with individuals with developmental disabilities. By accomplishing these duties, I refined my
ability to work independently as well as part of a team. I also developed better communication skills
through tutoring children from kindergarten to college-level while employed by Mathnasium.
I take pride in the tasks I engage in and make punctuality a routine priority. My ability to learn
quickly is an asset that allows me to adapt to new work environments rapidly and efficiently. In
addition, I am friendly and comfortable working alongside others.
I am dedicated, hard working and responsible. I am confident that through my experiences I
would be a great addition to your team.
Warm regards,
Syed Areeb Ali
