Personal profile:
I am an international Global Markets and Private Banking professional. I have broad finance, commercial
and investment strategy experience gained through research and management positions in leading
London and Amsterdam based financial institutions. My management style can best be described as
visible and servant leadership. I give people support and empowerment to continuously improve
themselves. Clear and open communication to employees, clients and other stakeholders is an important
and constant part of my job. Reliability, consistency and transparency are key values for me.
Ambition:

• Responsible for Global Equity Research product and Dutch Fixed Income Research product of ABN
AMRO Private Banking
• Leading global team of 6 Equity analysts based in Amsterdam, Singapore and Hong Kong and 4 Fixed
Income analysts based in Amsterdam.
• Responsible for setting up and maintaining relationships and contracts with third party research
providers. Building up a consistent research product by combining individual recommendations from
third party providers with in-house strategic and thematic views.
• Providing input on global equity view to Global Investment committee ABN AMRO PB.
• Presenting investment views to internal and external client base. Presentations to investment
advisors and or clients on various equity related subjects.
• Representing ABN AMRO Private Banking view in media. Regular appearances on RTL Z, CNBC,
Bloomberg TV and BNR radio. Contributions to various financial magazines and web-sites.
Leadership: Coach international team of equity and fixed income experts and oversee construction of
coherent and consistent research product.
Achievements: Lead change process towards new more efficient business model for equity research,
leading to 60% cost reduction, whilst at the same time improving employee engagement scores.

• Leading global team of 20 Equity analysts based in Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Paris, Zurich, Singapore
and Hong Kong.

• Achievements: Create buy-in the global ABN AMRO network and with a global client base for a
research product, specifically geared toward private investors. Implement a high-quality consistent
advisory approach throughout the complete ABN AMRO network.
