 Having around 2.10 years of experience in MSBI (SSIS 2008 R2 and 2012), SQL Server
2008 and 2012, ETL tools, Data warehousing concepts and Business intelligence
solutions.
 Extensively worked on Data Extraction, transforming the data by using SSIS. Load into
one or more destinations those destinations can be a relational, data warehouse, and File
system using SSMS on 2005/2008 environment.
 Excellent in High Level Design of ETL SSIS Packages for integrating data using OLE
DB connection from heterogeneous sources (Excel, CSV, SQL, flat file, Text Format
Data) by using multiple transformations provided by SSIS such as Data Conversion,

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
 Title : MIS-UTILIZATION
 Role : MSBI Developer
 Team Size : 18
 Project Start & End Date : Jan 2014 till date
 Environment : SQL Server 2012, Visual Studio 2012, Cognos.
MIS Utilization is responsible for delivering High End Dashboards to the users as per the
requirements. Dashboards are developed with different kind of source data. Source data
provided is moved to target database using SSIS and the data is delivered to the users through
Cognos dashboards. Source data is extracted through oracle views and transformed to the
desired form using Sql Server and SSIS 2012.
ETL tool is used to move the data from staging area to the destination. On a daily basis the
data is delivered to the users which consist of manpower details, project details, resource
utilization, resource ramp up/down, Business unit aspects etc. The different KPIs provided is
used by the top management such as CEO, COO, CFO for analysis and helps in taking
decisions towards the welfare of organization. Jobs are scheduled using Sql server agent in
order to deliver the data as per client requirements.
Responsibilities:
 Playing a major role in requirement gathering and analysis by communicating with users.
 Effective involvement in designing databases which includes creation of necessary
staging level, dimensions, facts and aggregate tables.
 Designed and developed ETL process for the dimension load using SCD1 and SCD2
technique and ETL process for fact tables, full and incremental load
 Created complex SSIS package to run multiple packages based on certain parameters and
writing logs for each parallel package
 Involved in scheduling and bursting Cognos dashboards along with ETL loads
 Effective involvement in performance tuning and automation of Jobs through SQL Server
Agent. Maintain a troubleshooting guide for all the common issues faced.

3.  Hands on migrating few complex Cognos dashboards to SSRS.
 Following all project compliances by maintaining documents like, Requirement
document, DLD, HLD, Query log, test cases, impact analysis, cook book, known error
document etc.
 Dedicated resource working with CEO’s team in all aspects for data analysis.

 Graduated as Computer Science Engineer from K.S.Institue of Technology (Under
VTU) with an aggregate of 83.2 in the year 2013.
 Pre University from Karnataka Pre University Board with 89.2% in the year 2009.
 S.S.L.C from Karnataka State Secondary School with 94.72 % in the year 2007.
