23. Our Leadership Team Extended
Mbali Hlobisile Mngadi is a true Media and public relations
enthusiast.
I am currently in my final year of study in a 3 year national
diploma in public relations management at the University of
South Africa. I want to take public relations in South Africa
to a whole new level. I want to see public relations form an
integral part in African and International corporate
organisations. There is a niche in the market for public
relations practitioners in organisations and feel that there
are avenues that haven’t been explored. I want to see public
relations working hand in hand with the media to fully
educate organisations of the importance of good media
coverage and public relations in enhancing the organisations
professional image and the environment.
I keep abreast with the latest developments in the
media, following Jeremy Maggs’ media show ‘Maggs on
Media’, the latest billboards advertisements, social media
and the latest in PR.
Quincy Mabunda is a a driven, enthusiastic and poignant
Public Relations practitioner in the making.
His strengths lie in the high passion he has for
communication and his ability to learn and adapt with
relative ease. He believe in combining tried and tested
methods with individual flair in order to come up with
innovative and pioneering solutions to organisational
challenges.
24. Our Interns
Mari Badenhorst
Mari Badenhorst joined Spindle
Communications on 25 February 2013.
She is currently busy studying her Diploma in
Public Relations at Varsity College in Pretoria.
As Mari is only in her third year of studies she
looks forward to many new learning and experiences.
Mari has been part of WIL (Work Integrated Learning) at Varsity
College which started in her first year, she was one member of the
various groups in her class who participated in a Awareness
Campaign which was held on her campus as well as a local family
park and a Presentation in which they had to create all the
planning behind an event but the event was never actually
initiated (the aim was to show students how to plan an event from
top to bottom. They were expected to make the necessary plans
before the event, during the event and after the event as if the
event was really going to take place). Mari has also got Sales and
Retail experience from her past positions. Mari was a Sales
Representative at Poetry and a Registration Officer at Varsity
College.
Mari has a great interest in Public Relations, Corporate
Communication , Crisis Management and Photography. She hopes
to study further once she receives her Diploma as she would like to
specialise in the near future.
