Human Resources
Dear Human Resources:
From the Ziprecuiter web site I learned about your need for an event coordinator for the
Greenville, South Carolina area. I am very interested in this position and believe that my
education and employment background are appropriate for the position.
You indicate that requirements for the position are planning and executing a wide-range of
events, performing various administrative duties, and assisting with various projects.
I have dedicated the last 30 years of my career to entertainment, event planning and production
management. I know all aspects of an event from conception to completion including but not
limited to venue management, entertainment booking, production of stages, audio, lighting and
technical crews, vendors, sponsors and other aspects of the music industry including artist
booking and management. I am a Hands-on Producer and Production Manager effective at
bringing projects from concept to reality.
I created a 501c3 nonprofit organization to purchase instruments for elementary school music
programs and have extensive knowledge of nonprofit financial management.
I will be moving to the South Carolina area to be closer to my family and will be available to
begin employment.
Attached is a copy of my resume, which more fully details my qualifications for the position.
I look forward to talking with you regarding event opportunities with the Peace Center. Within
the next week I will contact you to confirm that you received my email and resume and to
answer any questions you may have.
Thank you very kindly for your consideration.
Sincerely,
Susan Luley
