Greetings,
Arizona’s
beauty,
climate
and
economic
opportunities
draw
people
from
all
over
America.
In
response,
new
and
native
Arizonans
have
created
great
communities,
nowhere
stronger
than
here
in
the
West
Valley.
We’re
full
of
locally
owned
businesses,
welcoming
churches,
active
civic
groups,
and
friendly
neighborhoods.
One
Step
Beyond,
Inc.,
is
a
nonprofit
organization
with
deep
roots
in
the
West
Valley.
Our
campuses
in
Glendale,
Peoria
and
Surprise
serve
nearly
300
adults
with
autism,
Down
Syndrome,
traumatic
brain
injuries
and
other
intellectual
disabilities.
We
offer
life
skills,
health
and
fitness,
employment
and
cultural
arts
including
drama,
dance,
music,
and
painting.
What
does
this
mean
to
people
like
you?
Listen
to
Michelle’s
mom,
Kim:
“One
Step
Beyond
has
provided
a
safe
place
for
my
daughter
to
learn
yoga,
sign
language
and
Zumba,
to
name
only
a
few
of
the
activities
Michelle
loves.
I
could
not
imagine
our
life
without
One
Step
Beyond.”
Or
hear
what
Gina
says
about
her
son,
Chris:
“Chris
has
been
active
in
One
Step
Beyond
for
less
than
three
years,
but
he’s
made
friends
for
a
lifetime.
It
takes
a
special
kind
of
person
to
help
teach
young
adults
like
Chris
to
become
productive
members
of
our
society.
It’
no
wonder
the
OSB
staff
is
so
special
to
us.”
